A tornado that was part of a massive storm that struck the Midwest destroyed an Oklahoma City trailer park.
A storm spotter said the ground at the park was “scoured” after the tornado roared through Sunday afternoon. Reports of injuries were scarce early Sunday evening as overturned tractor-trailers on Interstate 40 are blocking rescue workers from reaching the park. Continue reading →
Properties were damaged, some significantly, but no one was seriously hurt when a tornado ripped through Edmond, Oklahoma on Sunday.
Around 3:47 p.m., sirens began to sound in Edmond as the twister touched down near Broadway and 15th Street. The tornado then crossed Interstate 35 causing damage to the exterior of a soon-to-be-opened medical center. Continue reading →
The anti-Christian Freedom From Religion Foundation obtained their wish and intimidated the Muldrow, Oklahoma public schools into removing plaques of the Ten Commandments that had been placed in classrooms for decades.

The anti-Christian organization Freedom From Religion Foundation descended on the small Oklahoma town of Muldrow demanding that schools remove plaques of the Ten Commandments from classrooms. They claimed that an “anonymous” member of the community had filed a complaint.

Central Oklahoma was shaken by a series of earthquakes starting around 1:45 a.m. and lasting through almost 5:20 a.m. Three of the quakes centered around Luther including the strongest quake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale.
