For the Future of America, Friends of Jim Bakker Speak Out!

The time is short before this historical election comes to an end, and the future of the United States of America hangs in the balance.  The fight to make our country strong will begin as each voter arrives at their polling place stands up for the morals that, as Christians, we have watched rapidly deteriorate.  The safety of this nation and the future nation that we leave for our children is on the line.  As a whole, we have passively trusted our government.

NOW is the time for us to show that as believers our votes count!

Dr. Lance Wallnau speaking tonight! Book Signing! Live Stream Event!

Tonight, Dr. Lance Wallnau will be speaking at Morningside for our evening service.  Dr. Wallnau is a dynamic teacher, internationally recognized speaker, and business consultant with a unique and powerful gift for imparting the Word of God.  He is also the author of the book, GOD’S CHAOS CANDIDATE.  Earlier this year, he was asked to meet with Republican Candidate, Donald Trump, before the primaries.  He felt that there was an anointing on Mr. Trump and was confused by this feeling as he actually preferred other candidates.  

Wallnau saw a meme on Facebook showing Trump as the nation’s 45th President and at about the same time he felt the Lord tell him to read Isaiah 45, which says “King Cyrus who is called the Lord’s “anointed” and later in the chapter says, “I have even called you by your name…though you have not known Me.”

Dr. Wallnau also felt he heard the Lord tell him “Common grace”. Upon looking that term up, he discovered that “common grace” was a term the Reformers used to contrast “saving grace” – a basic understanding of God that influenced governments and societies even though the people who had this common grace might not have experienced “saving grace.”

World events need discernment: Lt. Col. Bob Maginnis returning to Morningside

It seems that everywhere we look, the uncertainty and controversy going on in the world  lives just beyond our understanding. Most of us try to grapple with what the local and national news agencies report, but many times they use their own commentary rather than actual facts. We are always trying to decipher and piece together the real enemy. It is no wonder that there will be times in which we turn our heads away from it all because it is just too difficult to comprehend.   Here on The Jim Bakker Show, we know that it takes someone immersed within that world to understand it.  There are truly amazing communicators who have blessed The Jim Bakker Show with discernment and experience, and they have the knowledge to bring perspective on what is REALLY happening in our world today. Lieutenant Colonel Robert (Bob) Maginnis, internationally known expert on national security and foreign affairs, is one of those communicators.

On Thursday, Sept 8th at noon, please join us on Grace Street as we welcome back Lt. Col. Maginnis back on our show.  He is a regular broadcast partner on the Prophecy Today Radio broadcast and currently serves as a national security and foreign affairs analyst for Moody Broadcasting Radio Network and Salem Radio Network.  He recently completed a year as a Fox News military analyst.

He has been quoted many times in newspapers and magazines across the world such as The New York Times, US News & World Report and Time Magazine. Since 1993, he has written more than 500 articles, many of which have been published in distinguished newspapers and magazines nationwide.

In July 1993, Colonel Maginnis retired from an assignment in the Pentagon where he served as an Inspector General. He is an airborne-ranger infantry officer with an assignment history that includes Korea, Germany, Alaska, and several posts in the continental United States. He served in command and staff positions in four infantry divisions from platoon to division level. The colonel was the chief for the U.S. Army Infantry School’s leadership and ethics training branch. Colonel Maginnis’ service in the armed forces was commended with the Legion of Merit, one of the highest Army peacetime decorations, as well as with five meritorious medals and four commendation medals.

This is an honored man who has served the United States for decades.  His voice is one we should all be listening to.

Lt. Col. Maginnis will also be speaking the evening of Sept. 8th after the show taping,beginning at 7:00pm on Grace Street.  As always, admission is free to the public! Our evening program will be shown via live feed at watch us live.

September arrives with a visit from William Forstchen

September is upon us, and we are just weeks from a truly historical election.  Last March, Dr. William Forstchen gave his feelings regarding voting and about our place as American citizens.

“Abraham Lincoln, is one of my heroes who I rate with George Washington as one of the two greatest presidents we’ve ever had.. Abraham Lincoln once said: ‘we shall either nobly save, or meanly lose, the last best hope of mankind.’” Forstchen added, “I believe that now. In November we shall either nobly save, or meanly lose the last best hope on Earth. That is how important this has become.”

Mr. Forstchen continued, “When the declaration was signed,  Benjamin Franklin proclaimed, ‘Gentlemen, we shall either all hang together, or we shall hang separately. And we pledge our lives and our sacred honor upon what we do here.”

“ How many of you have walked the fields of Gettysburg?” Forstchen asked. “ How many of you have looked at the thousands of graves in which Lincoln said in his infamous speech at the very end, ‘That government of the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from this Earth’.”

 

With soft emotion, William described how those soldiers, in all of our history, gave their last full measure of devotion.   He explained that he always tells people that when you walk into a voting booth, you must hold close in your heart and mind the sacrifice that millions of American’s have made. You must remember that this is not something trivial and absolutely not about some 30- second ad about who told the biggest lie..

 

“I want you to go in there saying to yourself that men and women gave their last full measure of devotion.  I want you to be thinking and praying before pulling the level and vote for a person that you honestly feel will respect the millions of martyrs who gave us our freedom.”
Author and Professor William Forstchen always brings stunning insights on our country and on the danger and challenges that America faces. What is happening in Turkey? Joel Richardson returning to Morningside!

With all that is happening in Turkey and the Middle East today, it is difficult to stay on top of the players and how these countries’ actions are fitting within the prophecies of the Bible.  That is why we are thrilled to have Joel Richardson returning here Monday, July 25th and the 26th at 7:00pm for The Prophets Speak program as well as taping of The Jim Bakker Show Tuesday, July 26th beginning at noon!  

We trust Joel Richardson and his well researched, hands-on knowledge of the Middle East and the beliefs of its people. For the last couple of years, Joel has opened our eyes and gave us an understanding of the Bible and these end days with a clarity few can offer.  He taught us a very important lesson. In order to understand events happening today to Muslims, Islamic governments and Radical Islam, you must first take a glimpse into their world.

Joel Richardson, author of The Islamic Antichrist is who we turn to here at Morningside when trying to understand the vast and complicated world of the Middle East.  As the dust settled in Turkey, we were attempting to understand what was happening.  We waited for Joel to comment knowing that he had foreseen what was coming long ago.  Today, we were not disappointed.

In his response, called ” The Second Fall of Constantinople”  Joel began,

“Whether we are speaking of the role of the nations in last days biblical prophecy, or merely analyzing current Middle East geopolitics from a secular perspective, understanding what is presently unfolding in Turkey is absolutely critical.”

If you are paying attention to news reports, Erdogan’s response is surprising to some and  exactly what was expected by others.  This article explains the history and dynamics of the government found inside of Turkey, and the insurgence of Islam into every nook and cranny.  This article explains the United States and their roles in what now could be one of the most dangerous Islamic nation known.

The Fourth of July is gone, but the fireworks are just beginning for Morningside Ministries.  We continue our Restoration Celebration with a new series called “Prophets Speak”, as well as new tapings with the Jim Bakker show.  

Our “Prophets Speak” series begins at 7:00 pm on scheduled nights and will be live streamed.  This thought provoking series begins tonight, July 5th here on Grace Street with Bishop Ron Webb.  Wednesday, July 6th, we welcome Gary Heavin followed by Joel Richardson on Thursday, July 7th.  Friday night our own Jim Bakker Show co-host Zach Drew will be speaking at 7:00 p.m.   Next week for our “Prophets Speak” series we will welcome Rev. Ramiro Peña on Weds. July 13.  Every “Prophets Speak”  evening will be preceded by some amazing Worship on Grace Street at 6:30 p.m.  

Jim and Lori Bakker welcome radio host and author Steve Quayle and will be joined by Gary Heavin on The Jim Bakker Show, Thursday, July 7th.  

Thursday, July 14th,  Rev. Ramiro Peña will join the Bakkers.  The Jim Bakker show begins taping at noon with free admission.  The Jim Bakker Show  will not be available on our live feed, however, you can view it before it airs on TV on Roku, Apple TV and the Video On Demand section of our website. Anne Graham Lotz to be upcoming guest on The Jim Bakker Show!

Morningside is thrilled and honored to announce that Anne Graham Lotz, author, evangelist and daughter of Billy Graham will be our special guest on The Jim Bakker show, Tuesday, June 14th.

The New York Times has named Anne as one of the five most influential evangelists of her generation. She speaks around the globe with the wisdom given from studying God’s Word and has been profiled on 60 Minutes. Anne has appeared on TV programs such as Larry King Live, The Today Show, and Hannity Live.

Called “the best preacher in the family” by her father, Anne’s message has remained steady, encouraging people into a personal relationship with a loving God through HIS Word.

Anne Graham Lotz, recently spoke at the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and said that she believes God is keeping her father Billy Graham alive so that he will still be able to reach out to the lost and guide people through the end of times.

In a speech for Family Research Council’s 2016 Watchmen on the Wall conference in Washington, D.C the Christian Post reported Lotz spoke about faith and the reason why she thought her Dad was still alive on this earth.

“I thought it had to do with the Return of Jesus and I won’t go there right now, but I wonder also if [my father] is here … to be an encouragement to you — that there is a man that is still faithful, still has a heart for the Gospel, heart for God, heart for the lost and still prays,” she continued. “In fact, he prays in his preaching voice. He is still kicking. Maybe that will encourage you to be faithful through persevering in the ministry to which God has called you.”

Anne strongly believes that the second coming of Jesus Christ will happen during her lifetime. She has repeatedly said that the warning signs indicated in the Book of Revelations have started to unfold, what with major natural disasters and the Islamic State continuing to pose threats to the world.

Anne Graham Lotz is a best-selling and award-winning author. Her most recent release is called The Daniel Prayer: Prayer That Moves Heaven and Changes Nations. In her speech for the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Anne posed a question, “What can one person do when we’re faced with a mess or a disaster?”

Lotz outlines a pattern of prayer exemplified in the life of Daniel, specifically in chapter nine when Daniel pled to the Lord to deliver his people. She encouraged listeners to be like Daniel who was centered in prayer, clear in his asking and persistent in his petitions.

“My challenge to you is, what difference does the prayer of one person make?” she encourages readers.“You’re not going to know until you choose to be that one person. Would you pray until God delivers his people and takes them home?”
