Nigerian Generals Found Guilty Of Arming Islamic Terrorists

A Nigerian military court has found ten generals guilty in providing arms and intelligence to the Islamic terror group Boko Haram.

In addition to the generals, several other senior military officers were found to be telling the Islamic terror groups the sizes of military units and troop locations, allowing the terrorists to attack in places the government security forces were weak.

Boko Haram is currently the subject of an international manhunt because of almost 300 young girls kidnapped from a school.  The Islamic terrorists are threatening to force the girls into marriages to Islamic men and to sell them as slaves if they refuse to convert to Islam.

The government’s prosecutors say that some of the military leaders convicted yesterday had been undermining the efforts to find the missing girls along with working to destroy the effectiveness of the government’s offensive against the Islamists.

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has said he believed there were members of the military and possibly members of the Cabinet who were supporters of and members of Boko Haram.  Jonathan claims the government has now located the kidnapped girls but has yet to find a way to save them without endangering their lives.

Islamic Terrorists Attack Christian Businesses in Egypt

Egyptian officials confirm a group of Islamic extremists attacked the businesses of Christians today in the town of Luxor.

Many of the shops owned by Coptic Christians were burned to the ground.

Authorities investigating the attack said that Islamists marched into the shops in the village of el-Mahmeed and threw gasoline bombs into shop windows.  Police say that they have not made any arrested and currently have no persons of interest because of a lack of witnesses coming forward to identify who threw the bombs.

The Islamists are launching attacks ahead of the blasphemy trial of a young Coptic Christian who Islamists claim posted disparaging remarks about Islam on the internet.  The trial had been scheduled to begin today.

The young Christian, Kerolos Ghattas, is facing the death penalty if convicted.

Al-Qaeda Hanging Victims On Crosses

In their latest round of terror and blasphemy against Christ, terrorist group al-Qaeda has taken to hanging murder victims on crosses for public display.

A Syrian opposition group said that al-Qaeda based Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant killed dozens in the Syrian city of Ar-Raqqah and then hung the bodies on crosses with messages warning against standing up against Islamists.

Abu Ibrahim Alrquaoui, the head of a group called Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Slowly, says the move is the latest attempt by the Islamists to control the region through fear tactics.

“They want to stay in control,” Alrquaoui told Fox News.  “Everything they do is to scare people.  That’s why they kill people publicly.”

Jihadists across Syria have been resorting to the tactic of hanging victims on crosses for the last few months.  Most of the victims are not actually left to die hanging on the crosses but are rather shot in the head after being lifted up.

Rocket Barrage Takes It’s Toll on Israeli Citizens

Israelis ran for the safety of bomb shelters on Wednesday when Islamic Jihad fired over 40 rockets into southern Israel. Then they sought shelter gain Thursday morning when sirens alerted them of another rocket attack.

The attacks couldn’t come at a worse time for Israeli citizens who had been partaking in festivities leading up to Purim, a Jewish holiday with carnival-like traditions. Fairs and parties have been held all over the country before the holiday starts on Sunday night.

Terri Davis, a resident of Ashkelon located near the Israel/Gaza border, stated how difficult it was for her and her preschool students during the attack.

“When we heard the sirens, 70 children and 15 adults crowded into the shelter,” she said. “The children, who were dressed in costumes, had been happy and singing when the siren went off, and I saw panic in their eyes. But the teachers and soldiers who had come for the party kept the children calm, singing and dancing.”

Other difficulties for the residents near the Gaza border included not being warned about the first round of attacks. Adele Raemar who lives a mile from the Gaza border only took shelter after he heard an explosion.

“There was no warning, no red alert,” Raemer said, referring to the system that warns residents near the border of imminent attack. “The windows shook. My son and I and our two dogs ran into my shelter.”

Although tensions are high between Israel and Gaza, Raemer felt compassion for the Gaza families who lived near the border.

“I’m sure the man on the street in Gaza just wants to put bread on his table and have his kids go to school and come home safely,” Raemer said. “Unfortunately, the people of Gaza haven’t been able to [stop] the Iranian-backed organizations that are making their lives as miserable, if not more miserable, than ours.”

Strikes Fired Between Gaza Militant and Israel Despite “Truce”

Gaza militants continued firing at Israel on Thursday despite a supposed truce that had been formed.

According to Islamic Jihad’s leader in Gaza, Egypt had helped the militants resume a ceasefire agreement from 2012. Israel did not confirm this.

Eight more rockets were fired into Israel on Thursday. Israel retaliated by striking seven “terror sites” in Gaza.

No Israeli casualties were reported Thursday. Witnesses stated that three Palestinians were wounded, but did not confirm if they were civilians or militants.

Rockets Fired Into Israel

Gaza militants fired more than 40 rockets within two hours into southern Israel on Wednesday making this the largest rocket barrage to hit Israel since 2012 according to the Israeli military.

Only three of the rockets were intercepted by Israel’s “Iron Dome” while eight hit populated areas. The rest fell in open areas.

The Islamic Jihad militant group behind the attack wanted vengeance for three of their members who were killed in an Israeli airstrike the day before. Additional Gaza militant groups also joined in on the attack including the Popular Resistance Group.

In retaliation to the attack, the Israeli air-force attacked several Jihad training camps.

“This retaliation was precise and prompt. We targeted the infrastructure that serves the terrorists while they train, plan and implement their hideous attacks. They will not be permitted to conspire in the safety of their terrorist temples,” Israeli Military spokesman Lt. Col. Peter Lerner said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to continue the retaliation.

“We will continue to thwart (rocket attacks) and hit those that want to harm us, and we will act against them with great force,” Netanyahu said. “Last year, the number of rockets fired from Gaza was the lowest in a decade but that is not enough. We will continue to act to ensure the security of the citizens of Israel in the south and in the entire country.”

So far in 2014, Gaza militants have fired 32 rockets toward Israel before Wednesday’s attack.

No casualties were reported on either side Wednesday.

Islamists Force Christians To Pay To Live

Islamic terrorists in Syria are forcing Christians to sign documents agreeing to pay hundreds of dollars or be killed for refusing to convert to Islam.

The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant, an al-Qaeda related terrorist group, has obtained a level of control in parts of Syria that they are giving Christians the options to convert to Islam or pay money to not be killed.

The agreement says that any Christian who doesn’t want to be killed has to pay four gold dinars twice a year, which amounts to about $500 American dollars per six months.  The agreement says that middle class Christians will pay half the total and poor pays one quarter of the cost.

The agreement also puts heavy restrictions on Christians regarding their worship.  While they will be able to worship, they cannot build new churches or replace any churches that are destroyed by government troops, Islamic terror groups or even ordinary Muslims.

Christians are also prohibited from stopping any Christian from converting to Islam who wishes to do so.  They also cannot engage in commerce involving pork.

Olympic Travelers Warned Of Toothpaste Bomb

The Department of Homeland Security is sending a warning to Americans traveling to the Olympic games that a new kind of bomb threat is facing foreign airlines.

Terrorists have been placing the materials needed to make a bomb inside tubes of toothpaste in attempts to smuggle them onto flights and build explosive devices.

DHS said that there was no threat to America from the toothpaste bombs but that the agency routinely communicates “relevant information with domestic and international partners, including those associated with international events such as the Sochi Olympics.”

A DHS spokesman said that Russian authorities have been informed of the threat.

Security for the Olympic games in Sochi has been on high alert for months after threats from Islamic terrorist groups to hit transportation to the Olympics.

Russian Police Kill Terrorist Leader; Bomber Still At Large

The leader of a Russian Islamic terrorist group believed to be behind the plot to bomb the Winter Olympics was killed in a shootout with security troops while the woman believed to be the suicide bomber remains at large.

Russian security officials say that Eldar Magatov, the mastermind behind the bombings of public transportation in Volgograd last month that killed 34 people, was killed in a shootout after police surrounded a house in the Dagestan region.  Dagestan is considered the home base for the Islamic terrorist group that was led by Magatov.

Russian President Vladimir Putin received an offer of support from the United States to combat the terrorists during the Olympics but has not responded to the offer.

Meanwhile, the woman called a “black widow” believed to be planning to attempt a suicide attack on the games is still at large in the Sochi area.  In what has not been confirmed by Russian security officials, sources in Sochi say Russian security forces have sent out revised posters to hotels and hostels that show two separate women being sought as possible terrorists.

Islamic Terrorists Threaten Olympic Attacks

Islamic terrorists have released a video from two men who claim to be suicide bombers.

The two men in the video are dressed in street clothes with nothing to identify them as Islamists.  They identify themselves as part North Caucasus Islamic Extremist group while standing in front of a black jihadist flag and holding AKMS rifles.

“We’ll have a surprise package for you,” the terrorists say in the clip. “And those tourists that will come to you, for them, too, we have a surprise. If [the Olympics] happens, we’ll have a surprise for you. This is for all the Muslim blood that is shed every day around the world, be it in Afghanistan, Somalia, Syria, all around the world. This will be our revenge.”

U.S. Intelligence officials say they have been studying the video trying to determine authenticity.  However, the video was posted on a website that is considered credible for the Russian terrorist group.  Sources say that U.S. Intelligence officials are working to come up with a rescue plan for Americans who may get trapped in a terror attack at the Olympics.

Russian authorities continue to insist their forces will be enough to protect participants and attendees at the Olympics.
