Kidnapped Aid Workers Rescued From Islamic Terrorists

Two Spanish aid workers for the group Doctors Without Borders were rescued from their Islamic terrorist captors Thursday.

Montserrat Serra and Blanca Thiebaut were kidnapped in Kenya in 2011 by al-Shabab, an al-Qaeda affiliated terrorist group based in Somalia. Boko Haram Terrorists Get Life Sentence

Four members of the Islamic extremist group Boko Haram have been sentenced to life in prison after convictions related to bomb attacks that killed 19 Nigerians.

They were found guilty of masterminding an attack on an electoral commission office and a Christian church in 2012. The sentences are the strongest given to any convicted Boko Haram terrorist. Major Islamic Terrorist Leader Questioned in Somalia

Somalian intelligence officials confirmed that one of the leaders of the Islamic terrorist group Al-Shabab is in custody and is answering questions.

Officials took Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys to a government intelligence base after he either surrendered or defected to the government’s forces. Local officials say that he was fleeing in-fighting among the terrorist group that has caused significant fractures in the terror group’s command structure. Continue reading
