Deaths were reported in all parts of the country including the capital of Riyadh. The Saudi Civil Defense Authority is urging people to avoid valleys and plains. A one-two punch of flash flooding and a 5.6-magnitude earthquake has killed 24 Afghan citizens and injured hundreds.

Massive rains have created widespread flash flooding all across the Chicago area, closing expressways and submerging numerous streets, basements and viaducts.
