Two Islamic clerics have been arrested in connection with bombing in Tripoli last week that killed 42 people and wounded hundreds.
Sheikhs Hashem Minkara and Ahmad Gharib were arrested with three other men and charged with forming a terror cell to attack government buildings. The clerks are believed to have close ties to a Sunni group in Syria. Continue reading
Egypt’s state news agency is reporting that former President Mohammed Morsi has been referred to a Cairo criminal court for charges of committing and inciting deadly violence.

A report from a team of international scientists has revealed that long-held beliefs regarding the origin of the tuberculosis virus are wrong.

On the heels of the discovery of a Pentagon training document calling the founding fathers of America “extremists” and labeling conservative organizations as hate groups, a training document has been uncovered calling evangelical Christians and Catholics as an “extremist” group in the same category as al-Qaeda and Hamas.
The document also lists Mormons on the extremist list along with Sunni Muslims. Strangely, Shia Muslims were not listed as an extremist group. Continue reading
