Steve Quayle & Evangelist David Lankford Taping April 14th

Weekend Weather Promises Big Mix

This weekend weather promises a big mix of severe storms, snow, flooding and tornadoes. With a storm system moving across the Central and Southern Plains, a cold front on the East Coast and freezing weather setting in across numerous locations, you don’t have to go far for something different in your weather conditions.

According to the National Weather Service, The western U.S. will remain mostly dry through the weekend as high pressure remains in places across the region. Severe thunderstorms in the central and southern plains will produce hail, damaging winds and some tornadoes. This system will also produce flash flooding and snow over portions of the upper great lakes and central rockies.

The Weather Channel reports that multiple rounds of strong to locally severe storms are possible from Delaware and southeastern Virginia to the Carolinas, south/central Georgia, northern Florida, southern Alabama, southern Mississippi, and southeast Louisiana, as a cold front slowly pushes southeast.

A few thunderstorms may also develop farther north into Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and New England. The potential impacts of these storms could be damaging wind gusts and large hail, though a few tornadoes are possible.
Flash flooding will remain a threat from the Carolinas and Georgia, southern Alabama, the Florida panhandle, coastal Mississippi and southeast Louisiana.

The National Weather Service also reported that heavy rain and strong storms were expected for the Southeast states and snow with much colder temperatures will be the norm from the upper midwest to the Northeast this weekend.

Several tornadoes were reported in Mississippi and Alabama Thursday evening as a multi-day round of severe weather clobbered the South, and the threat persisted Friday morning into Georgia in reports by The Weather Channel.

One twister touched down in Lowndes County, Mississippi, near New Hope before rising off the ground and touching down again across the state line in Alabama near Ethelsville. Lowndes County Emergency Management Service Director Cindy Lawrence told the Associated Press that at least a dozen homes near New Hope were damaged by the storm, but there were no injuries. Survey crews from the National Weather Service found two EF1 tornadoes hit northern Pickens County in Alabama.

A Mississippi teen was killed earlier in the day Thursday in a wreck on wet roads.

Michael Snyder Returns April 7th!

Michael Snyder is our “go-to man” when talking about our economy. Best known for his work as the publisher of the “The Economic Collapse Blog,” the attorney and economic specialist feels that a great awakening is coming.

The Jim Bakker Show is happy to announce that Michael Snyder will be back at Morningside Thursday, April 7th! Taping will begin at 11:30am. This taping will not be live streamed. However, you can view it before it airs on TV using Roku and the Video On Demand section of our website.

In April, part of the Temple of Baal that stood in Palmyra, Syria, will be reconstructed in Times Square in New York City and in Trafalgar Square in London. The specific portion that is being erected in both cases is the 48-foot-tall arch that stood at the entrance to the temple. Recently Michael Snyder wrote an article that was posted at Charisma. His voice on this subject is very informative and worth the read!

Whenever Michael Snyder comes to Morningside anyone wanting to know what is happening on Wall Street should be sitting right in the audience. We hope to see you there!

TAPING UPDATE: Tom Horn, Dr. Dennis Lindsay to lead panel on the Nephilim

Genesis 6 and Numbers 13 both reference the mysterious Nephilim, but say little about them.

Who are these giants? Where did they come from? Where did they go and will they return?

Join Pastor Jim and Lori Bakker as they discuss the fascinating topic of the Nephilim with a unique panel of experts during a special taping of The Jim Bakker Show on Thursday, March 24.

The panel will consist of Tom Horn and Dr. Dennis Lindsay, who will have plenty of insight to share with our audience. Morningside regrets to announce Steve Quayle, who was originally scheduled to be on the panel, will no longer attend the taping due to unforeseen circumstances.

Horn is a frequent guest on The Jim Bakker Show. He’s the author of Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and Return of the Watchers, and the founder and host of Skywatch TV. He will be joined by Dr. Lindsay, the president of Christ for the Nations Institute and the author of Giants, Fallen Angels and the Return of the Nephilim.

Lindsay’s teaching and insightful books are written for the layperson, not in scientific or technical terms. They give a unique, Biblical perspective on the Nephilim.

The taping is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 24, on Grace Street. We are expecting a large crowd, so make plans to share the day with us and learn about amazing, supernatural events occurring in the world today! Rabbi Jonathan Cahn “Following God’s Heavenly Blueprint”

Whenever Rabbi Jonathan Cahn comes to Morningside, a unique peace falls over Grace street. The presence of the Holy Spirit embraces the audience and a calmness sweeps quietly from person to person. Rabbi’s voice has the ability to flow from his heart and into the listener’s spirit. There has never been a time when he has spoken here where he did not have a powerful message that God wanted us to hear. This time the words spoken over the crowd were powerfully personal.

Before God acts, he plans, and the Bible is a blueprint for the course of humankind and this world. We can see the movement of that blueprint throughout history but many wonder about the role that they play and for the purpose of their life. No one but Rabbi could make the answer feel so clear.

“The whole Book of Revelation is like a blueprint of what God is going to do. It talks about the lamb that was slain before the foundation of the earth. First it (the plan) is revealed then it comes. There is a pattern. If you have any question as to whether God has a purpose for your life I tell you this, God has a blueprint for the lives of ALL of His people. There IS a heavenly pattern to your life! “

Rabbi reassured the audience that God knows each and every one of us and that HE has had a divine plan for our lives all along. Many of us wonder how we will fulfill God’s plans for our lives? How do we do it?

According to Rabbi, the number one thing we can do to discover His plans for us is obedience to His Will. The more that you obey the Will of God, the more He will lead you into the destiny that is yet to come. Reading the Word of God and living by it is the second thing. The Word of God is the Will of God manifest, so the more you live your life according to the Will of God and the Word of God, the more the plans of God come to fruition. By living in the Word, you are following a general pattern of how you should live your life.

Another key to following God’s divine blueprint for your life is “living by faith”. Faith is what connects you to the will and the plans of God.

Rabbi continued by explaining that there is also something very sacred that will allow the plans and destiny of your life to be revealed.
“When God created the World, when he began the creation, the Bible says the Spirit of God was upon the waters. So, as He is creating, the ‘spirit of God ‘ is part of the act of creation. The spirit is the agent of God’s will. It translates the will of God into reality. The more you live your life according to the Spirit, by the HOLY spirit, the more the plans of God will be manifested.”

Living in the Spirit, moving to His Will, living in the heart of God, will lead you to the exact plan that God has for you.

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn knows God’s Word and creatively related story after story within the scriptures and in his own life regarding God’s Divine plan for ordinary people, just like you and me, whose lives became extraordinary once they bowed to the Will of God in their lives and captured the blueprint that God had drawn up for them.

Imagine how much is given from heaven that has not been received. Imagine how many times people have begun living the pattern of the divine plan for their life, feel they have messed up and then just quit? But God does not give up on us. And if we go off track HE has a plan to get you back. Rabbi assures and encourages us not to be afraid to live this life that God intended for us.

“He does have a plan for you. God placed every one of you for His purpose. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are His workmanship!. You were conceived to glorify God! You were made to glorify God! You have a destiny to enter into that blueprint that he prepared for you … you have been called … a high and holy calling! Dare to take the Higher Ground! “

God is asking us to have faith. All it takes is one step in obedience towards His loving will, which will immediately set us on the path to finding the pattern and plan that He has created only for YOU! Are you ready to fulfill the glorious plans He has for your life? It is entirely up to you to make that choice!

Joel Richardson Warns, “There is a Storm Brewing”

On our first exciting evening service for the prophetic conference here at Morningside, Joel Richardson began his message with one clear word on the prophetic.

“You don’t need to be a prophet to understand the big picture. For the finer details, yes you might need to be one, but in terms of understanding what’s unfolding right now all over the world, it is actually very simple. There is a storm brewing.”

Joel Richardson knows when a storm is coming. As the son of a fisherman, he grew up in an area plagued by hurricanes, Now he lives in the midwest where storms can come up quickly and produce destructive tornadoes. Joel explained that hurricanes begin as a tropical storm, far away, The storm is out there, swirling in the ocean. Then 2 , 3 or 4 days down the road you see the entire coast engulfed in this massive storm system and on alert. You can look on a map and see the hurricane swallowing half of the country.

According to Pastor Richardson, “If we want to understand the story of what is happening in our world right now we have to begin by understanding the basic story of the Bible, which is this: The God of Heaven and Earth has made a promise, He has made vows, He has actually made vows unto death, and these promises have to do with what is happening right now. These promises involve a very specific piece of real estate; a very specific spot on the map that is called the city of Jerusalem, in the nation of Israel. The nation of Israel is like a tropical storm right now, and the storm is beginning to brew and to swirl.”

Richardson explained that the scriptures teach that eventually the storm that begins around Jerusalem, the rage of Satan against the fulfillment of God’s promises, will pull every nation on earth into its destructive power.

“The storm is already beginning, we are already starting to feel the winds of this storm. This is a storm that eventually will affect everyone on this earth. This will be an economic storm, it will be a storm that will affect nature with natural disasters, it will be a military storm, there will be very real wars. Beyond that it is a theological storm, an ideological storm. This storm will involve deception and this is one of the first things that we need to be made aware of.”

Joel stressed that before we feel the winds of decimation we will, even in the church, feel the winds of deception. He warned against the danger of believing in replacement theology. A theology that states in effect, that the church has superseded Israel; that God has transferred his plans and purposes from Israel to the church. When in fact, God made these promises to Jerusalem over and over in His Word. Israel is his Jewel and it in the city of Jerusalem that Jesus will have His throne.

Listening to Joel speak is always compelling.The biblical knowledge on Israel and on her enemies are an incredible gift to understanding God’s plans. Joel describes Jesus as sitting on the right hand of God, now, interceding for us. He is waiting…His heart is burning. He wants to come back more than WE want him to come back. And it is almost time.

In closing, Joel Richardson tells us all to keep our eyes on the Middle East and be wary of the winds that we feel from there.

“It is right in front of us, the battle… the storm. Watch Israel. Watch Jerusalem.”

Dr. Gary Smalley, Champion to Marriage and Family Passes on to Heaven

The PTL Television Network, Jim Bakker Show, the Bakker family and all of us here at Morningside are praying today for the friends and family of a wonderful man, Dr. Gary Smalley who passed into heaven over the weekend in Colorado Springs, Colorado.    

Dr. Smalley devoted his professional life to guiding others in repairing marriages that were all but broken.  He and his beautiful wife Norma began an organization devoted to families and to the intimate and heartfelt ministry of developing good and solid marriages in 1979.  Their organization eventually evolved into retreat centers in 10 different cities.

Gary’s heart was to educate and inspire couples to love better and last a life-time!  But, even with the thousands of couples that he has helped through his retreat centers, counseling, speaking engagements and books, he spoke proudest of his two wonderful sons, Greg and Mike, his beautiful daughter Kari, and the amazing families they are raising. Every single day, there was never a doubt that he was completely aware of the love and blessings he had with the light of his life, his wife Norma.

Gary Smalley became one of the country’s best-known authors and speakers on family relationships. He is the author and co-author of 60 books along with several popular films and videos. He has spent over 35 years learning, teaching, and counseling. In a heartfelt post on facebook a friend wrote these words,  

“For the zillions profoundly impacted by Gary & Norma Smalley’s ministry and all those who have resurrected & salvaged dead-end relationships…and for those who just want to know how to do relationships right….this will be a loss heard around the world for decades to come.”

According to a post by his daughter on her facebook page, Dr. Smalley’s last days were spent surrounded by his loving family. The last words spoken over him were “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;”  Numbers 6:24-25

According to an article in Christian News Today, a celebration of life will take place Saturday, March 19 at 3:00 p.m. at College of the Ozarks Chapel in Point Lookout, Missouri. It will be open to the public for all who wish to honor Smalley’s life and legacy.

Our hearts and prayers are with Dr. Smalley’s family and friends but we also feel the joy of knowing that he is where love begins and ends, held within God’s loving arms.  

 

Former FBI Agent, Expert on Islam, John Guandolo, Scheduled on The Jim Bakker Show

Former FBI counter-terrorism Special Agent John Guandolo has been scheduled as a guest on the Jim Bakker Show Tuesday, March, 29th.  Please join Jim and Lori Bakker as they welcome the founder of UnderstandingtheThreat.com, an organization dedicated to providing strategic and operational threat-focused consultation, education, and training for federal, state and local leadership and agencies, and designing strategies at all levels of the community in order to defeat the jihadi threat.

John Guandolo is a 1989 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy who took a commission as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. In 1996, Mr. Guandolo resigned his commission in the Marine Corps and joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), serving at the Washington Field Office. After starting his FBI career in narcotics, Mr. Guandolo began an assignment to the Counterterrorism Division of the FBI’s Washington Field Office developing an expertise in the Muslim Brotherhood, Islamic Doctrine, the global Islamic Movement, and terrorist organizations including Hamas, Al Qaeda, and others. In 2006, Mr. Guandolo was designated a “Subject Matter Expert” by FBI Headquarters and created and implemented the FBI’s first Counterterrorism Training Program focused on the Muslim Brotherhood, Islamic Doctrine.

Mr. Guandolo is the co-author of Shariah – The Threat to America, the first comprehensive book on the enemy threat doctrine, and the author of Raising a Jihadi Generation (September 2013) which details the Muslim Brotherhood’s jihadi support network inside the United States.

In a recent blog post Guandolo asked the question: ‘Where is the Mystical “Peaceful” Version of Islam Taught?’

Mr. Guandolo answered:

“American and European leaders tell us that Islam is a “wonderful” “religion” which teaches peace and love among all peoples.  Officials often quote the Koran in order to demonstrate the truth of this narrative.  Yet, the question remains:  Where do MUSLIMS teach other MUSLIMS that Islam requires them to love all other people in the world, and “do unto others?”

The answer:  Nowhere on the planet except in Muslim homes where parents teach their children these principles, which are entirely contrary to the teachings of Islam.

It is not taught in Islamic elementary, junior high, or high schools anywhere on the planet.

It is not taught in the most prestigious and oldest Islamic schools of jurisprudence, such as Al Azhar in Egypt.

It is not taught in Islamic Centers/Mosques anywhere in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa, or North America.

Guandolo goes on to explain what is being taught by Muslims to NON-Muslims will surprise you!
