Pastor Jim and Lori: Thank you so much for bringing this teacher and prophet to your show. I am sure Joel would not consider himself a prophet, being he primarily teaches about End Time events. However, in the midst of his teachings are prophetic forecasts and “discerning” the times. I have being studying Islam from a different perspective than Joel, although I was aware of much of his teachings. The history of Mohammed is also an interesting study in relation to bible prophecy. In that history you see Baal worship disappear, then reappear under a new name: Islam. Just as Baal worship mimicked the Levitical priesthood and the temple: Islam mimics Christianity. Baal worship was deceptive, because it had all the forms of godliness surrounding the Temple and the priesthood: but denied the power thereof. Just as Islam mimics the precepts of Christianity: but denies the deity of Jesus. Islam teaches eternal life, resurrection, day of judgment, the last trumpet, the antichrist, the deceiving Messiah, and a second coming (of Mohammed.) Joel touched on two of these points, hopefully he returns to teach about these other issues. For ten years I have been looking to Turkey and the Middle East for the fulfillment of many prophesies. It is nice to have Joel confirm what I have long believed. Very appreciative that you had him on the show.
