Where Bobby Conner goes, joy in the Lord follows. This past Friday night, here at Morningside, Bobby gave the prophetic Word on Hope. “What a difference a day makes!” he smiled. “The Lord told me to tell His people to war against the raging cloud of doubt. Doubt is deadly! Hang on to hope because one day can make a difference in your world!”
Pastor Conner remarked that through his years in ministry he always has people ask him, “Do you have any advice?” “Well… YES I have some advice… some good advice…Live your life with swift and complete obedience! The happiest people on the planet are obedient to God! The most miserable people I know are Christians trying to live like they are lost! Be SINGLE MINDED in your love for God!”
Everyone at Morningside truly does rejoice in hearing the Word from Pastor Bobby Conner! His Love of Jesus is so apparent that it shines through with his smile. That love came through while telling the story of Mark 5 when Jesus cast the demons from a man in the area of Gerasene. This man was completely mad with demons who had possessed him and had to live in a cave because people were so frightened of him. Jesus cast out the demons in two thousand pigs that promptly rushed down the hill and drown. When the people came to see Jesus they saw this man perfectly healed and happy. The townspeople asked Jesus to leave out of fear and the fact that they had lost two thousand pigs, and when Jesus was leaving the healed man asked him if he could go with Jesus. Christ told him that He wanted him to go out and tell all he met about how God had healed him.
“This man woke up that morning a maniac and went to bed a missionary, ah yes…what a difference a day makes!”
Thank you Bobby Conner!
Thursday July 2nd, Morningside had a breakthrough night as Bishop Ron Webb preached the grace and blessings of God! This 4th of July week has been focused on spiritual warfare and remembering that the greater the attack the greater are God’s blessings for you!
“Stay the Course!” Bishop Webb encouraged, “I know you are hurting! You are at the point of falling apart but God is able to hold you together! Above all you ask or think, the power is in you! You are going to live through everything the devil threw at you!”
“David’s life depicts warfare” Bishop reminded the crowd, “ David wore many different mantles. He was a musician, songwriter, King and warrior but above all that, David was a worshiper. Worshipers know how to grab the heart of God. Worshipers ALWAYS win! “
The evening was filled with praise and worship as those in the audience let go of the battles in their life and gave them to God. “Some of you are in the same place as David was in, fighting battle after battle. But I am here to remind you that you have survived it all and you are here to show EVERYONE the Glory of GOD! Stay the course!”
Pastor John Kilpatrick knows revival! In the spirit-led, Wednesday night service on Grace Street, Pastor Kilpatrick shared God’s Word on His Blessings and the spiritual attacks that will most likely take place before them.
“So many are going through some really hard stuff,” he began in his riveting sermon. When the devil attacks you, he wants you to get offended with God!”
Explaining to the crowd that it is right before an amazing blessing from God that the devil will attack.
“The devil will only stir against you when he sees that something significant is going to happen to you”, Pastor Kilpatrick advised, “Hunker down, hang on and wait for what God has in store for you! Even Satan knows that he cannot stop the blessings that God has in store for you but, he can try to spoil it!”
This inspirational service brought the message of spiritual attack to light, bringing hope of the inevitable blessings and calling on all of our lives.
“I realize that when an attack ends I will be stronger, more effective and more resourceful in the kingdom than ever before. Don’t hold on to the trial. It may be a week or a month or maybe even a year but every trial has a shelf life . When it’s over, it’s OVER!”
“You got what you needed tonight!” exclaimed Pastor Jim as the service came to a close. “Miracles are going to happen. God has something so special for us! Your deliverance came tonight. Can you feel it?”
The spirit of revival is indeed at Morningside! AMEN!
I am constantly asked how I got to where I am today. How did you get to Morningside? How did you become the co-host of an internationally syndicated television program at 24 years old? Was it easy? Did it happen overnight? I want to say a resounding NO. It did not happen overnight. Of the stories you have heard so far I feel like I have lived a pretty supernatural life. I have always been sensitive to the supernatural realm and I listen to the Holy Spirit inside of me. If He tells me to do something, I do it. Continue reading →
One of the many things that Jim and I love about Morningside is the people that work, volunteer and study at this ministry! From 18 to 80, the talent and creativity absolutely fill this place up! No job is more important than the other because it takes each and every person to keep this ministry going. We get so excited when one of our staff or students find that special gift, blessed by God, and is able to glorify Him while excelling at their job. Sometimes people will begin in one department but move to various areas of the ministry to find their right fit. One thing is for certain, when you put Him in your heart as you go about your work, He will bless your efforts and will reveal your calling! Continue reading →
Morningside was shaken by 2.7 magnitude earthquake Wednesday night.
The quake, which struck around 10:15 p.m., was centered near Yellville, Arkansas, about 30 miles from Morningside. Friends and partners of the show who were on social media reported feeling their homes shake for a brief moment but there were no reports of damage.
Several witnesses said they could hear the rumbling outside of their homes similar to a truck on the highway or passing train.
The quake was the second to strike Arkansas in the last month. A magnitude 3.8 quake struck near Fairfield Bay, Arkansas on June 4th causing minor damage. The epicenter of that quake was about 50 miles from the Yellville quake.
Some things God provides for you immediately when He says that He will do it.
Some times it takes many years to come to pass.
For Pastor Jim, God has repeatedly shown the fulfillment of a promise and calling made when he was at the Dream Center in Los Angeles. Today on Grace Street, God showed in a powerful way the way that only He can fulfill the call that He places on those that honestly and completely seek Him.
When Pastor Jim was at the Dream Center in L.A., he told his new wife Lori that God told him to build a network to bring the little known or unknown prophets to the world. Today on the Jim Bakker show, Pastor Jim brought to the world John Shorey, Mark Blitz and Philip Cameron at the same time.
The moment was filled with powerful words from God. Mark Blitz overflowed with the love of God when he declared that “we’re about to enter the Super Bowl of human history and I don’t want to be on the bench! I want to be in the game coach!”
The conversation revolved around the importance for all of God’s people to be ready for the times to come. That we are about to enter another step in Revelation times and that it’s more important than ever for people to listen to the prophets and to read the signs to be ready for God’s plan to unfold.
Philip Cameron said that God’s people need to be ready for Him to pour upon them blessings and miracles. He says that God is in heaven with an open hand, not a closed fist. He also called on those who support Morningside to give because God is providing the opportunity to own the entire facility which will provide a wonderful opportunity for God to work through Pastor Jim to make His vision reality.
“We have a chance to tell Jim Bakker go chase after the vision of God,” Cameron said. “I know good soil when I see it.”
He’s a man that in the decade of the 1950’s was only topped on the charts by a little-known artist named Elvis Presley.
Billboard magazine named him the 9th biggest recording artist between 1955 and 1995…bigger than legendary artists like The Beach Boys and Aretha Franklin.
He still holds the Billboard magazine record after holding 220 consecutive weeks with at least one song on the chart.
And through it all he gave credit for his success to the One who gave him the talent to perform: God! Continue reading →
Lori received a wonderful gift for her 55th birthday as Grammy Award winning vocalist and reigning Dove Awards Artist of the Year, Jason Crabb, performed for almost three hours on Grace Street.
Jason sang powerful versions of songs like “Still Holding On” and the McKamey’s legendary song “God On The Mountain.”
Jason was initially scheduled to sing just six songs but he ended up singing well over a dozen different songs including a duet with Tammy Sue Bakker on “When He Was On The Cross, I Was On His Mind”. Continue reading →
When Acts started, identity theft started…the devil doesn’t want you to know who you are!
That declaration was part of an amazing night of worship and power as Bobby Conner brought a message of hope, power and redemption to a packed Grace Street. He began with a sermon and changed into a deep conversation showing how through the Word God is calling us to move forward in power through Him!
The message Bobby shared was not the typical sermon. It was a deep study of the Word using dozens of Bible verses and multiple stories of powerful women in the Bible like Ruth and Esther. Continue reading →
