On Tuesday, August 6th, in a very special show taping, Pastor Bakker will be teaching on what the Bible says about the hurt, hatred and Biblical prophecy concerning mass shootings and violence in the United States and in this world. This special message will be a live taping on Grace Street, Tuesday, August 6th at 11:30 am ct followed by another show taping featuring Jim and Lori Bakker with guests Frank Davis and Megan Poling.  This special show with Jim Bakker will be aired on Friday, August 9th. We encourage you to watch and hear the Word of God.  

In a statement released on Sunday, August 4th, 2019 Pastor Jim Bakker wrote:

Through God’s visions and Pastor’s obedience, the new age of Christian Television was born!  Today this valuable communication brings the love of Jesus, the forgiveness, the restoration and the Power of our Lord to homes in this nation and around the globe. Through Pastor Jim’s faith, and the Glory of God’s mercy, a platform for today’s prophets exist unlike any other.  

Here at Morningside, a place of worship and fellowship is the home of “The Jim Bakker Show,” which is seen around the world. On this show, the most anointed visionaries and prophets have a platform to speak and teach.  From the blessings of God, this valuable ministry has grown.

God works through Lori’s House to shine a light on the blessings of life and this special ministry continues to grow. Through God’s hand and the generosity of believers and partners with this ministry, this dream was fulfilled and continues to honor the Lord.

Morningside celebrates the founder of this ministry and the millions who have come to know Jesus because he has dared to follow and learn from the path God set him upon that began so long ago.

Shirley Boone, wife of legendary singer, Pat Boone, dies at her family home

Pat and Shirley Boone are loving, supportive friends to both Jim and Lori Bakker as well as for Morningside.  Today, so many felt the personal loss of learning that their kind friend, Shirley Boone passed on to sit at the glorious feet of Jesus. While we celebrate the life of this amazing woman, we also mourn the loss of our beautiful friend.

Shirley, age 85, passed away peacefully Friday morning at home, after suffering complications from vasculitis which she had contracted less than a year ago. Shirley’s last moments were spent surrounded by the couple’s four daughters, Cherry, Lindy, Debby and Laury, all singing hymns to her.

Pat and Shirley truly lived a love story. For 65 years they shared the great love they have had for each other and for family and friends. They were most especially passionate about sharing their faith and trust in Jesus.  

“We lived a wonderful, blessed life together for 65 years.  I’ve parted with my better half for a little while…but we don’t die, we just move on to another place, and today was moving day.” Pat said of his high school sweetheart in an interview with People magazine.  “She’s changed her address is all and moved to a different mansion that I expect to join her in one day.”

Please pray for God’s peace and strength for Shirley’s husband Pat, for their sweet family and for her countless friends who now face this world without her. She will be deeply missed.
