Prepping is Not Beyond Your Reach

We have heard from quite a few people who are concerned about how to prepare when their finances are very tight. Prepping can seem like it’s beyond your reach, but don’t give up; where there’s a will there’s a way! Jim and I understand this very well and we’re not insensitive to the plight of those who are challenged by a limited income.

Anyone who has read my book, “More Than I Could Ever Ask” knows that there was a time when I actually shined shoes at the airport to make ends meet and to provide for myself when I was in full-time ministry in Phoenix. People may say, “oh you poor thing,” but I’m not looking for sympathy and I didn’t feel disadvantaged even then. Trumpets are Sounding (Pt. 3)

Prophetic consensus from many sources is that the beginning of the Great Tribulation will be in 2015. John Shorey went through David Wilkerson’s and other prophecies about an economic collapse preceded by a great earthquake in the northwest. John said that considering the huge bubble in the stock market today, this economic collapse can’t be far off and he believes it could be this Fall – with the obvious indicator that a huge earthquake is even closer. If the dominos start to fall, everything could fall into place and happen very quickly – in less than six months!

John noted that on March 20th, 2015, a solar eclipse will happen which, prophetically speaking, indicates the judgment of the Gentile nations, which includes the United States of America. Three and one-half years after the Spring of 2015 (the possible beginning of the Great Tribulation), would be September of 2018… the week of the Feast of Trumpets and the 70th year from the rebirth of Israel in 1948! Everything You Know to Do, You Need to Do

Whatever we are going to do for Christ, NOW is the time to do it. Israel is God’s Time Clock and the alarm is telling us we are seeing earth-shaking events. The news is filled with reports of rocket barrages into and out of Israel.

Israel is surrounded by her enemies, just as the Bible says that they would be in the Last Days.

Get Ready!

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you that I cannot remember a time that we have needed and appreciated your support any more than we do right at this moment! Lori and I want so much for you to be ready for anything and I know in my heart that something BIG is about to happen!

I am not the only one feeling this way! When Pastor John Hagee was here with us recently he said, “I think the message that God is sending to His children is that the King is coming. Get ready, get ready, get ready! The Son of God is about to appear in the clouds of Heaven and this world (as it is) is soon to be over.”

Both, Pastor Hagee and Pastor Mark Biltz are warning of major prophetic events surrounding the appearance of the ‘blood moons’ in conjunction with Israel’s Holy Feast Days. The signs in the heavens couldn’t be any more apparent, marking major prophetic events which will become clear as we wait on the Lord. The message right now is to get ready! My heart tells me that YOU also know something big is coming.

The situation in the Middle East with Israel is causing great concern.  Israel is at the center of every conflict that is threatening to explode in that region, sending the entire world into chaos. The Bible makes it clear that how we deal with Israel is how God will deal with us (Genesis 12:3).

William Koening, author of the bestselling book Eye to Eye and Washington news correspondent, came to share his perspective on the consequences of dividing Israel’s land. William said, “Pressuring Israel into peace talks is going to have consequences. The greater the pressure on Israel, the greater the corresponding catastrophe.”  With the unfortunate decisions being made recently in regard to Israel, we will not have to wait long to see the consequences.

Our friend John Shorey has been spending the week with us on our show passing on the revelations that he experienced during the last blood moon. What he said only adds to my urgency to do whatever I can to help others get ready. “When events start to unfold that makes many aware of the need to prepare at once, the prep food industry will be overwhelmed.  The Bible teaches that events leading to the Lord’s return will catch many unaware. It’s sad that many of those who will be caught ill prepared will be Christians.”

We don’t know what is coming, as much as we know something big is coming!  Whatever it is, all of our guests agreed that the major and most immediate crisis will be a food shortage. Experts say it will only take 3 days for food to disappear from the grocery store’s shelves in a major catastrophic event, so what you have in your cupboards won’t last long!

Something Big is About to Happen!

Lori and I want so much for people to be ready for anything and I know in my heart that something big is about to happen!

How Will YOU Make It Through Times of Trouble?

Unfortunately, many people—even many sincere Christians—have been lulled into apathy concerning “end-time” events. The recent spate of apocalyptic books and movies have served only to dull our sensitivities to the real dangers of meteor showers, earthquakes, floods, famines, economic unrest, and widespread panic in the streets.

Catastrophic calamities will soon strike the earth; economic systems are going to crumble; life as normal will be severely disrupted; and the world will be plunged into a time of tribulation such as we have never before experienced. It is not a question of if these things are going to happen; the Bible clearly predicts their occurring. The only questions are, When will these things occur? and Will we be ready for them? “Thanks Mom for Teaching Us to Prepare”

On one of our recent shows with Dr. William Forstchen, the author of “One Second After,” we talked at length about preparing for emergencies and how some find it a matter of life or death while others devalue it in the most mocking ways they can. We can’t reach everyone with the message of emergency preparation, but we try our best to warn them and then if it’s received or not is up to them.

But you’d like to think that your own family would receive the wisdom of preparing, and some do while others continually brush it off.  In fact, some family members (usually the younger ones) are way too busy with living life to pay attention to the real threats we face in our world. One Second After

God has really shown us His favor and we have booked some of the most knowledgeable people on the planet to speak to the concerns we face as Christians in today’s world. People are responding with urgency that we haven’t seen before – and that is a good thing! That shows that the body of Christ is waking up and moving, and preparing for perilous times! (2 Timothy 3:1)

One of our recent guests, Michael Maloof, the author of “A Nation Forsaken” and an expert in the threat of EMP attacks, brought home the fact that it would take very little to bring down the entire American power grid and thrust us immediately into the dark ages. He warned of small scale, as well as large scale attacks designed to maximize confusion and panic: the result being over 200 million (projected) deaths from starvation and disease. The Strong Prepare

Lori has always been a preparer.  She always has something in her purse to treat a burn, etc.  Now when she married me, she got to go full tilt with preparing!  You may laugh at Lori, but when it’s falling apart, you’ll wish for someone like her around you.

My Grandma Irwin was a preparer too.  She always had food – she always had something tucked away.  But if you’re going to tuck money away under your mattress or something, make sure it’s in dollar bills because they won’t be making change someday soon. If you have to buy a loaf of bread, you don’t want to have to give a hundred dollar bill.

This is in the first part of what’s coming.  So, if you have dollar bills, you can go buy a loaf of bread and they’ll take whatever you have. You’re going to barter for things in the next state (situation).  When the power goes out and the machines don’t work… the atms will not work!  Continue reading →

Be Aware and Prepared (Pt. 2)

Throughout history, God has called true believers in Him to be separate from the systems of the world.

Revelation 18:4 warns us to “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues”. Everything designated as holy has an element of separation about it, set apart from sin and from the world and set apart to God for His service and glory.

God wants a people like Himself while many want to be a people like the world. After all these years, Christians still don’t seem to get that part of the story. There are many false religions and beliefs being promoted and it is very essential that we really test the spirits. Continue reading →
