Millions of Christians are being displaced from the Islamic world according to a report from the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom.
“The flight of Christians out of the region is unprecedented and it’s increasing year by year,” the Commission stated in a report. “[in our lifetime] Christians might disappear altogether from Iraq, Afghanistan and Egypt.” Continue reading
Seven NATO Troops Killed In Afghanistan
Seven NATO forces have died in two attacks over the weekend according to a NATO spokesman.
The deaths come as the Taliban has announced their “spring offensive” against in an attempt to undermine the current Afghani government as NATO begins to remove troops. The Afghani military is expected to be given total control in 2014.

Taliban Conducts Summary Amputations As It Enforces Sharia Law
With the deadline for American and allied troops to leave Afghanistan a year away, reports from the Herat province show the Taliban is reinstituting a brutal form of Sharia Law.
In mid-March, two men were kidnapped by Taliban fighters and taken to a base where they were held for 27 days without explanation. On the morning of the 28th day, the men were taken to a room where their hand and foot were cut off with no explanation. Continue reading
Flash Floods and Earthquake Kill 24 In Afghanistan
A one-two punch of flash flooding and a 5.6-magnitude earthquake has killed 24 Afghan citizens and injured hundreds.
The earthquake struck around 2 p.m. about 17 miles northwest of Jalalabad. At least nine have died in the region around the epicenter including a child. Hundreds of homes collapsed during the quake leaving thousands homeless. Continue reading
Chopper Forced Down In Afghanistan; Taliban Kidnaps Passengers
A helicopter that was forced into an emergency landing ended in 11 foreign engineers being kidnapped by the Taliban according to officials in the region.

Terrorists Kill Nine in Wardak, Afghanistan
Nine people were killed and 22 wounded when a roadside bomb struck a bus in the Wardak province of Afghanistan. One woman was among the dead and children were wounded in the blast.

Taliban Assassinates American Diplomat In Afghanistan
The Taliban assassinated a young American diplomat and five others this weekend.
Anne Smedinghoff, 25, was killed along with three soldiers, two civilians and an Afghan doctor. The group was traveling to deliver books to a school in the southern part of the country. Continue reading
Taliban Kills 50 In Afghanistan
Taliban members dressed as soldiers assaulted a courthouse complex killing at least 50 people, 34 of them civilians.
At least 90 were injured, most of them civilians.
The attack in Farah province began around 9 a.m. local time when militants detonated explosives inside an army vehicle damaging the local governor’s office and two banks packed with civilians. The terrorists then began a gun battle with Afghan security forces. Several terrorists detonated suicide vests. Continue reading
Taliban Attacks Police In Jalalabad
A homicide bomb attack on a police station in the eastern Afghanistani city of Jalalabad has killed five police officers along with the terrorists.
