Baby Walter, Miscarried at 19 Weeks, Saving Babies from Abortion

A baby that was born at 19 weeks before passing away has become a symbol to save the lives of babies around the world.

Lexi Fretz of Greencastle, PA posted pictures of her late son Walter on her blog after the child’s birth in fall 2013.  She intended for just family and friends to see the photos of her “perfect child.”

“I never, ever could have imagined that it would spread across the world like this,” Fretz says.

At 19 weeks of pregnancy, Lexi began having pain and was rushed to the hospital.  A few hours later she delivered Walter.

“I was crying so hard at this point but he was perfect,” she wrote on her blog. “He was fully formed and everything was there, I could see his heart beating in his tiny chest. (My husband) Joshua and I both held him and cried over him and looked over our perfect, tiny son.”

“I held him, cuddled him. While his heart was beating, I held him to my heart, I counted his toes and kissed his tiny head.”

Walter passed away a few minutes later.

The photos that were taken by Joshua have now impacted women around the world.

“I am so shocked at my ignorance as to the development of a baby,” one commenter named Barbara wrote. “I will no longer look on as an observer. I will become an active informational type of person and share this as an example of life, the life of a baby—a real baby.”

“My views on abortion have completely changed,” another named Jordan wrote. “How naive have I been?!”

Lexi says that God has brought good out of a tragic and painful situation.

“I wish that this (miscarriage) hadn’t happened, but it did for a reason,” Fretz said. “Maybe that reason was to share with the world how perfect a baby which is legal to abort in many states really is.”

Former Olympian Who Refused Abortion Births Triplets

A former Olympic gymnast who had doctors telling her to abort two of her unborn children to make sure the third baby was healthy has given birth to healthy triplets.

As previously reported, Jaime Halsey was told by doctors last fall to abort their children.

“We had our first scan in Northampton at 12 weeks and were immediately referred to specialists at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford,” she told the Northampton Chronicle in January. “They told us one of the twins is 25 percent smaller than the other and there’s a massive risk of further growth restrictions.”

Halsey flat out rejected the calls of their doctors and said that she would give life to her babies no matter what it would cost her.

On February 24th, Halsey gave birth through Cesarean section.

Triplet girls Eden Rose, Amber Joy and Erin Aila are all doing fine.  They will remain hospitalized until they gain more weight as they were born premature.

“We both know that the triplets have a long way to go, and many hurdles to get over before we can bring them home; but we know that we have given them the best chance possible and the wonderful medical staff at the JR have and will continue to give them the best chance possible too,” her husband added.

Boko Haram Forces 7 Year Old Girl To Carry Out Bomb Attack

In their latest assault on civilians, terrorist group Boko Haram has used a girl believed to be around 7 years old on a homicide bombing.

The attack happened in Potiskum in the northeastern part of Nigeria.  The attack killed five people along with the girl and sent 19 others to various hospitals.

The girl had been seen around a market by security guards who kept sending the girl away because “given her age, she did not have anything to do in the market.”  The security guards had been screening people for explosives before allowing them into the market when the girl detonated her device.

Security officials could not say if the girl was one of the 200 kidnapped from a boarding school in Borno state in April 2014.

Texas Lawmaker Crafting Law To Protect Unborn When Mother Brain Dead

A Texas lawmaker is standing up to say that just because a woman is brain dead it doesn’t mean the baby inside her is also dead.

Rep. Matt Krause is creating a bull that would allow the baby in the case to have his or her own representative in court to argue for the life of the child.

“You’ll hear what the family wants, and you’ll also give the pre-born child a chance to have a voice in court at that same time,” Krause told the Dallas Morning News. “The judge weighs everything and he or she makes their decision based on that.”

The proposed law in the wake of the case of Marlise Munoz, a 33-year-old woman who was found unconscious in the middle of the night.  Doctors say Marlise had suffered a blood clot in her lung which caused her to collapse.  She spent two months at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth where the baby had a measurable heartbeat despite the mother being brain dead.

The woman’s husband and parents wanted to end the life of Marlise and the unborn child as per her request. She did not want to be “kept alive by machines.”

The hospital said they could not remove Munoz from life support because of a Texas state law that prohibits the removal of life support to a pregnant woman.  Judge R.H. Wallace said that the woman was technically dead and so the law didn’t apply to her, allowing Erick Munoz, Lynne Machado and her husband to end the life of Marlise and the unborn baby.

ISIS Burying Children Alive According To UN Report

The first report since 1998 from the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child is showing the horrors of ISIS upon religious minorities.

The report, written by 18 independent experts, shows that ISIS is using children with mental illnesses as suicide bombers.  The children are unable to understand that they will die as a result of what they’re doing, and because of their autism and other illnesses they believe they are just being “good kids.”

“We have had reports of children, especially children who are mentally challenged, who have been used as suicide bombers, most probably without them even understanding,” Committee expert Renate Winter said. “There was a video placed [online] that showed children at a very young age, approximately eight years of age and younger, to be trained already to become child soldiers.”

The group has also targeted the children of Christians for crucifixions and live burial.  The children would sometimes be thrown into open graves that contain the bodies of their parents and buried.

In addition to the active murders of children, ISIS is also locking children inside homes where they die of starvation or thirst.  Children are also sold in markets next to fruit and vegetables.

The report outlines the selling of young girls as sex slaves.

Britain’s Lower House Approves Three Parent Babies

Great Britain is now the first country in the world to approve genetically modified children with DNA from three parents.

The vote in the House of Commons was 328 in favor and 128 against the process that scientists say would stop genetic diseases from being passed from a mother to the child.  The pro-genetic modification crowd said it was a “light at the end of a dark tunnel” for many families.

The bill now moves to the House of Lords for approval.  If the House of Lords approve the measure the first genetically modified babies could be born in 2016.  Estimates say 150 modified babies could be born each year.

Prime Minister David Cameron tried to quell criticism of the process.

“We’re not playing god here, we’re just making sure that two parents who want a healthy baby can have one,” the PM said.

Critics were quick to point out no one can know the future of this process.

“This will be passed down generations, the implications of this simply cannot be predicted,” MP Fiona Bruce said.  “But one thing is for sure, once this alteration has taken place, as someone has said, once the gene is out of the bottle, once these procedures that we’re asked to authorize today go ahead, there will be no going back for society.”

Olympic Gymnast Rejects Doctors Call To Abort Triplets

A former Olympic gymnast for Great Britain is refusing doctors demands that she abort her triplets because of “potential health risks” to the babies.

35-year-old Jaime Halsey and her husband were thrilled in October to find they were going to be parents of triplets.  Doctors then began to pressure them because of fears the babies would suffer from IUGR: Intrauterine Growth Restriction.

“We had our first scan in Northampton at 12 weeks and were immediately referred to specialists at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford,” she told the Northampton Chronicle. “They told us one of the twins is 25 percent smaller than the other and there’s a massive risk of further growth restrictions.”

“I also risk putting my body under three times the strain to keep them healthy,” she explained, “so they advised the termination.”

Halsey says that she flatly rejected the call of the doctors to abort two of the babies to let the third live.

“Everything went well at the last scan and all three babies are growing well,” Mr. Halsey told reporters. “The one twin remains smaller, but all three are extremely active, which is good news.”

Halsey was the UK’s first female to compete in trampoline when she appeared in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

State Takes Custody of Christian Family’s Children

A Christian family in Hot Springs, Arkansas had their home invaded by police and their children taken from them because of a “miracle supplement.”

State police and Garland County officers were looking for MMS, or Miracle Mineral Solution.  The product is completely illegal and can be legally purchased online but the FDA believes there could be health concerns related to the product.

The officers were claiming that the children were being placed at risk because of the MMS in drinking water.

Hal Stanley said that he is the only member of the family that takes MMS and that it’s mostly used as a water purifier for his garden.

The couple, who homeschools their children, were kept away from their children while they were questioned by officers.  Michelle Stanley told KARZ-TV that an officer said the kids looked great and the situation would be ending soon.

Then fully armed sheriffs came into the home and took the children away from their parents.

The family considers themselves “self-reliant” and avoids contact with the government.  Sources close to the family say this is the motivation behind the police harassment.  A court hearing is being held on January 21st to determine if the state can continue to hold the family’s children.

The Garland County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement after the media heard of their actions, claiming that the MMS story is “false.”  They claim two residents close to the family who are unnamed made claims of child abuse.

CDC Declares National Flu Epidemic

The Centers for Disease Control has officially declared a flu epidemic.

The number of states reporting high levels of flu jumped from 13 to 22 last week and the CDC says there are now flu outbreaks in every region of the country.

The CDC also said that 15 children have died as a result of this year’s flu outbreak, 6 of them in Tennessee alone.  East Tennessee Children’s Hospital has reported 442 children with flu already this year.

ABC Chief Medical Editor Dr. Richard Besser said on Good Morning America that about a hundred children a year die from the flu.  He said that children, the elderly and anyone with a compromised immune system are at highest danger for death.

The CDC says the H3N2 subtype is the strain in 90 percent of confirmed flu cases.

Dr. Besser said that the flu season has been striking earlier during the last few years and he called it a “worrying trend.”

He advised anyone in a high risk category to get a flu shot.

Pakistan To Execute 500 Terrorists In Response To Taliban Murder

The Pakistan government has announced plans to execute 500 convicted terrorists in response to the Taliban’s killing of 133 children and 15 teachers at an Army Public School in Peshawar.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had announced last week the government was lifting a moratorium on the death penalty in terrorism related cases.  Reports say that at least six terrorists have already been hung.

“Interior ministry has finalized the cases of 500 convicts who have exhausted all the appeals, their mercy petitions have been turned down by the president and their executions will take place in coming weeks,” an unnamed source told AFP news agency.

Pakistan officials said the attack on the school was their own country’s 9/11.

The United Nations has spoken out against Pakistan ending the moratorium on the death penalty for convicted terrorists.

The terrorists were unrepentant, releasing a video saying they will continue to kill children if any of the terrorists children are killed by military action against them.
