Just a day after Boko Haram terrorists bombed a Christian neighborhood in Kano, Nigeria that killed at least 28 people and injured dozens, the government has announced a troop pullback from Mali to help restore peace to the region.

Boko Haram Terrorists Get Life Sentence

Four members of the Islamic extremist group Boko Haram have been sentenced to life in prison after convictions related to bomb attacks that killed 19 Nigerians.

They were found guilty of masterminding an attack on an electoral commission office and a Christian church in 2012. The sentences are the strongest given to any convicted Boko Haram terrorist. A fifth terrorist was sentenced to 10 years in jail and a sixth defendant was acquitted by the court. Continue reading

Islamic Terrorists Kill 55 In Coordinated Nigerian Attacks

nigeriaattacksMilitary officials said Islamic terrorists launched coordinated attacks across Northeast Nigeria that has killed at least 55 people.  The attack struck Barna in Borno state that has seen almost continual terror assaults since Boko Haram began their campaign of terror in 2010.

Boko Haram Leader: “We Have Done No Wrong”

A leader of the Nigerian Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram has released a statement that says his group has done nothing wrong and needs to amnesty from the government.

The statement comes after Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan had high level officials looking into amnesty for the group in return for peace. Boko Haram had previously requested amnesty from the government. Continue reading

Easter Raid In Nigeria Kills 14 Islamic Terrorists

As part of a higher status for security amid Easter, Nigerian forces raided a suspected rebel hideout and killed 14 Boko Haram terrorists.

According to information found in the raid, the terrorist group had been planning a massive Easter Sunday attack on Christians in the Kano area. Residents reported gunshots and explosions. One soldier died in the assault and a potential homicide bomber was caught in a car filled with explosives. Continue reading
