The anti-Christian Freedom From Religion Foundation obtained their wish and intimidated the Muldrow, Oklahoma public schools into removing plaques of the Ten Commandments that had been placed in classrooms for decades.

Students Fighting For Ten Commandments

The anti-Christian organization Freedom From Religion Foundation descended on the small Oklahoma town of Muldrow demanding that schools remove plaques of the Ten Commandments from classrooms. They claimed that an “anonymous” member of the community had filed a complaint.

Teens Fight Back Against Anti-Christian Bullies

After an Idaho public school teacher told Christian students that they could make no references to God in an assigned paper called “I Believe”, students began to ask questions about why they were prohibited from sharing their beliefs.  The questions led to a video and program aimed at ending bullying of Christian students in public schools.

The students spurred the creation of Reach America, an organization based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.  The group is comprised of students from across the area. Continue reading

Pentagon Seeks Advice on Religious Freedom from Group That Compares Evangelism to Rape

The Air Force is seeking recommendations on their official guide to religious tolerance from an anti-Christian group that said Christian evangelism is the same as rape and is advocating that any Christian in uniform who shares their faith should be court martialed.

Mikey Weinstein, president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, said he and others from their organization met with Pentagon officials on April 23rd to discuss how they could stop a “tidal wave of fundamentalists.” Continue reading

Army Email Lists Christian Ministries as “Domestic Hate Groups”

Lt. Col. Jack Rich sent an e-mail to three dozen subordinates at Fort Campbell, Kentucky calling some Christian ministries “hate groups” that “do not share our Army Values.”

The American Family Association and Family Research Council were listed as groups that are against the values of the Army along with neo-Nazis, Racist skinhead groups, white nationalists and the KKK. Continue reading

Anti-Christian Group Successful In Removing Jesus Portrait From School

The anti-Christian group Freedom from Religion Foundation has succeeded in removing a picture of Jesus from a southern Ohio school.

The FFRF, along with the ACLU, had sued the Jackson City School District to remove a portrait of Jesus that hung in the middle school’s “Hall of Honor” on behalf of a student and parents who refused to be identified. Continue reading

Massachusetts Atheists Sue To Remove “Under God” From Pledge

An atheist family in Massachusetts is about to petition the Massachusetts Supreme Court to have the phrase “under God” removed from the Pledge of Allegiance.
