Pakistan Security Forces Seize 100 Tons Of Bomb Materials

Matthew 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

A raid in southwest Pakistan has turned up over 100 tons of bomb making materials believed to be connected to a terrorist organization.

The materials were the same as those used in two terrorist attacks in Quetta earlier this year that killed more than 120 people.

Quetta, capital of the Balochistan province, has been plagued by Taliban terrorists as well as other terror groups. The two attacks in January were claimed by the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi organization.

Ten people were arrested in the raid. Police say they recovered 80 drums of material that had been prepared to explode if a detonator were attached to them. Other items included potassium chlorate, ammonium chlorate acid and detonating equipment.

“I’m very thankful to God that today we saved Quetta especially and Balochistan generally from a big accident,” Col. Shah of the Frontier Corps told Reuters.
