Al-Qaeda Master Bomb Maker Struck By Drone

Luke 21:7 “Teacher,” they asked, “when will all this happen? What sign will show us that these things are about to take place?” Luke 21:11 "There will be great earthquakes, and there will be famines and epidemics in many lands, and there will be terrifying things (that which strikes terror), and great miraculous signs in the heavens."

Ibrahim al-Asiri, the master bomb maker for Al-Qaeda who is a major target for international intelligence groups, has possibly been wounded in one of last week’s U.S. drone strikes in Yemen.

NBC reported that American officials are feverishly trying to confirm reports that al-Asiri was inside a car targeted for carrying four members of the terrorist network. Two of the terrorists were killed and another wounded along with al-Asiri.

Al-Asiri has been called “skilled and inventive” by intelligence personnel. He designed the underwear bomb that a terrorist failed to detonate in a flight over Detroit in 2009. He was also behind a plot to destroy planes using bombs concealed in computer printers.

He even implanted a bomb inside the body of his brother who attempted to assassinate a Saudi Arabian official in 2009.

The U.S. embassy in Sanaa, Yemen continues to be closed because of the increased terrorist threat but a state department spokeswoman said they are “taking appropriate steps to plan for reopening Sanaa as soon as possible.”
