Morningside featured in local Business Spotlight article

Morningside was recently featured in the Business Spotlight article of the local Branson Tri-Lakes Newspaper:

Morningside is more than meets the eye!

Morningside may be best-known as the studio where “The Jim Bakker Show” is recorded, but all it takes is one visit to realize it’s much more than that.

Morningside features numerous condos, which can be rented for a night or purchased as a new home, a chapel, general store, restaurant and even a beauty salon.

In fact, the Morningside General Store recently expanded the hours it’s open — to all of the time. Continue reading

Coming to Morningside – Pastor Cedric Hayes and The Gloryland Pastor’s Choir October 12-13, 2011

The Jim Bakker Show is pleased to welcome Pastor Cedric Hayes and The Gloryland Pastor’s Choir to Morningside for a live taping at 10:30 a.m. on October 12th and 13th. You won’t want to miss this delightful show!

The Gloryland Pastor’s Choir was formed in April 2008 by Pastor Cedric Hayes of Gloryland Family Fellowship Church in North Little Rock, and Eudora, Arkansas. “The children of our church wanted to sing with the Mass Choir but their voices had not matured for the Mass choir.” Pastor Hayes did not want to deny them the chance to use their gifts for God, so he founded The Gloryland Pastor’s Choir. Seychelle Announces New Radiological Filter

When the devastating 9 point earthquake hit Japan in March, it was evident before very long that there was nuclear contamination released from the damaged reactors in the quake area. That contamination was grossly understated by officials and the news media. The result of the fallout has been devastating in the health of those exposed.

After that event, Pastor Jim Bakker asked Carl Palmer, President and CEO of Seychelle, if it was possible to develop a way to filter out harmful radiation from drinking water in a portable product. The following announcement from Seychelle is in response to Pastor Jim Bakker’s request:

Seychelle is pleased to announce the availability of the first portable radiological filter of its kind in the world that filters 100% of the major contaminants that can be found after a nuclear catastrophe out of drinking water! Continue reading

The Road to Lori’s House is Completed!

“This is a voice of one who calls out in the desert: Prepare the way for the Lord. Make the road straight for him. Every valley should be filled in, and every mountain and hill should be made flat. Roads with turns should be made straight, and rough roads should be made smooth. And all people will know about the salvation of God!'” – Luke 3:4-6

Today Pastor Jim & Lori Bakker celebrated the completion of Legacy Road, the road to Lori’s House.  God talks about roads over 475 times in the Bible, and as Pastor Jim stated today, “You can’t get to your destination without a road.”  Roads are essential to prepare the way for what is to come.  All of us are called to be like John in the road-smoothing work of making it easier for people to come to know Jesus.  Here at Morningside, our road-smoothing will literally help to save lives!

Pastor Jim and Lori asked all in attendance to pray and lay hands on the road that will soon be used to bring pregnant women and their unborn babies to Lori’s House.
