Revelation 13 (Pt. 1)

Satan attempts to counterfeit all the good things God has provided, so we should not be surprised that just as there is a Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the Enemy has a trinity as well. The players in this evil threesome are Satan (the Dragon), the Beast (the antichrist), and a second beast (the False Prophet). This second beast is a public relations man of sorts who causes the world to worship the Beast and Satan. They are intent on ruling the world, and for a time, it looks as if the devil and his demon-possessed puppets will succeed. But then Jesus Christ returns—and the devil and his motley crew receive everything they deserve.

You will be rewarded and will reign forever with Jesus in a new heaven and a new earth. That’s where we are going, but the going gets extremely rough between now and then.

John saw the antichrist, a world leader who rises to power because of his great oratory skills and his winsome charisma. He will promise people everything they want to hear, but he will ultimately lead them into bondage and death. Continue reading

Mystery Babylon Revealed (Pt. 7)

Summation:  God says He is punishing the harlot, this Mystery Babylon because of what she’s done to you.  What’s going on in America right now?  America is punishing Christians, persecuting them!  If you don’t believe it, you don’t know Jesus!  If you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He’s banned… we can’t use His name, we can’t even put his Cross on our army’s tent for a chaplain.  They’ve even been outlawing Bible in some of the places for the chaplains.

What’s going on?  They’ve rewritten the Bible!  We’ve murdered 55 million babies and don’t think anything of it!  Come one people!  Are we that hard-hearted?  Are we that cold?  Are we that insane that we don’t understand?  It’s talked as if abortion is a good thing.

Evil is being spoken of as good, and good as evil.  Christians have become second-class citizens in a country that was founded on faith in God.  Those who have faith in God are now being punished.  You can’t preach the Bible publically, really.  You can’t stand up against anything without being put down, without being destroyed.  Continue reading

Mystery Babylon Revealed (Pt. 6)

Verse 10:  They will be afraid of her suffering and stand far away and say:  “Terrible!  How terrible for you, great city, powerful city of Babylon, because your punishment has come in one hour!”  God’s name for any wicked city is Babylon.  Even when Jerusalem would turn against God, God would call her Babylon.

Verse 11:  “And the merchants of the earth will cry and be sad about her, because now there is no one to buy their cargoes…”  Now if this Babylon was the Catholic Church, as some believe, this verse wouldn’t even make sense.  Would the merchants cry over the Catholic Church going bankrupt?  I doubt it.  But this verse means even the people in China will weep over this one.  Because when the economy breaks down, no one will buy Chinese goods!  No one will buy anything because the system won’t work.

So, what is this harlot about?  What is all this about? Continue reading

Mystery Babylon Revealed (Pt. 5)

Back to Verse 4: “Then I heard another voice from heaven saying: “Come out of that city, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive the disasters that will come to her.” You say, “Jim, don’t preach about disasters!” I can’t help it! The Revelation is from Jesus Christ, so here’s Revelation and it’s Jesus Christ speaking: He says, “so that you will not receive the disasters that will come to her!” If you’re in love with the financial systems, and put all your hope in the financial systems, when it comes apart…. When I was in prison, the Lord spoke to me to go out and warn the people. If somebody doesn’t warn the people, the church people are going to blow their brains out because it will crash! That was over 20 years ago. God said to tell the people to fall in love with Him – not money. If they don’t, they will blow their brains out when it all crashes. Continue reading

God is Warning Us Through His Word

Our time is running out to really do some of the things God wants us to do. But, if God’s people will begin to turn back to Him, we can see a real move of God.

In the middle of the night, God woke me up and led me to open my Bible so I turned on my phone for light (for old fogies that don’t know what they’re doing) and the first scripture the Lord said to read – I’m reading it and it is so shocking to me…

It is going to happen so soon… it literally puts the fear of God in me. Rick Joyner said when you see the extremes (hot/cold highs/lows, when meters flip) that means the engine is about to explode!

Rick said, without beating around the bush, we’re going to have martial law unless America really turns back to God. There’s no hope without God! Rick said all the money that we (America) owes would be equal to the worth of everything on this earth including your shoes, your glasses, your house, your cars, everything! He said everything we own is equal to the real debt – not the debt they tell us we have but the real debt that the experts are telling us. Continue reading

The Rapture Chapter (part 4)

The third woe found in Revelation 11:19 is the turning point in the visions given to the apostle John. Clearly, the best and the worst will happen now.

The seventh angel blows the seventh trumpet (11:15), the last trumpet blast mentioned in the Bible. This is it! Time has come! Jesus is coming back with this last trumpet! We know from the other overlays of scripture that the following events will occur simultaneously. Continue reading

Breaking Prophetic Word from Jim Bakker

The Rapture Chapter (Pt. 3)

Apparently this event is going to receive worldwide attention, because every¬one around the world will be transfixed by the images they will see on their televisions, computers, smartphones, and tablet computers, not to mention the amount of traffic on social media outlets. The news media will be over-whelmed trying to describe and analyze the significance of these developments in the Middle East. The Antichrist will want the whole world to see that he has won and that God’s prophets are dead (Revelation 11:9).

Worse still, the world will respond happily, even gleefully. The scene will be like a satanic Christmas celebration, a counterfeit yuletide, as people rejoice over the deaths of God’s messengers (v. 10). Ironically, this is the only rejoicing we’ll see in Revelation until Christians get to heaven. Obviously the preaching of these two prophets will anger most people. Continue reading

The Rapture Chapter (Pt. 2)

In Revelation 11:3, John is told about the two special witnesses who will preach in Jerusalem for 1,260 days (three and a half years). The Bible doesn’t tell us specifically who these two are, but some scholars say the two are representative characters, not real individuals, but symbols of the law and the prophets, the law and the gospel, the Old Testament and the New Testament. Most scholars, however, believe the two witnesses are two individuals, and they speculate about their identities.

Some say the two witnesses are Enoch and Elijah. Enoch walked with God and the Lord “took him” (Genesis 5:24). Similarly, the prophet Elijah was taken up “by a whirlwind to heaven” (2 Kings 2:11). Neither of these men experienced death. As such, some see them as the two witnesses of Revelation 11. Continue reading

The Rapture Chapter (Pt. 1)

This week, John Shorey will be back with us to discuss the timing of the Lord’s return. I think it’s the right time to share with you my studies on this topic.

To me, Revelation 11 is one of the most exciting chapters in the Bible, because I am convinced that we see the Second Coming in these verses! The chapter begins with some strange instructions for John to measure the temple (11:1–2). The prophet Ezekiel was directed to do something similar after God’s people had been taken captive and exiled in Babylon (Ezekiel 40–43). What’s the purpose of these measurements? In Ezekiel, I believe God was reminding His people that the temple belonged to Him and it would be preserved. I think that same message underlies these initial verses in Revelation 11.
