Pastor Jim and Lori Bakker are so appreciative of your love, support and prayers throughout 2013. God gets all the glory for what was accomplished for the Kingdom last year. Many were saved, delivered and healed through the sharing of God’s Word and the preaching of the Gospel. Thank you for standing with us.
Last year during the heat of summer, Pastor Jim prophesied an upcoming season of “COLD, COLD, COLD!” As we neared the end of 2013, Storm Cleon hit with a vengeance blanketing a 1600-mile area and leaving behind record-breaking artic blasts. Those of us living in the Ozarks were surprised by how long the freezing temperatures hovered–especially since it wasn’t technically winter yet! I enjoy sleeping in a cold room huddled under a blanket, but those bone-chilling nights found me searching for an extra comforter.
Already in the first part of 2014 America has again experienced frigid temperatures in unusual areas. The national news has described many extreme weather conditions as “apocalyptic”, “biblical” or of “biblical proportion”.
These extremes are signs that Jesus is coming soon! So — are you rapture ready? Have you received the Lord as your Savior? Only our Father in Heaven knows the day and the hour of Jesus’ return. However, we can know the season.
As the window of the Lord’s return draws closer, we see the world growing darker and more evil. At the same time, this is the most glorious time for the church! When the dark is darker, the light becomes brighter. There is a mighty end-time harvest of souls to be reaped. Pray for the Lord of the harvest to send more laborers! Be willing to be a witness for Jesus as you share the message of God’s great love.
On December 11, 2013, Pastor Jim wrote on his blog: “Our time is running out to really do some of the things God wants us to do. But, if God’s people will begin to turn back to Him, we can see a real move of God.”
Yes, for many, it is a relief that 2013 has passed. I thank God we are still here – and that means that God has a purpose for our existence. I want to encourage you to seek God daily, listen for His voice and stay in His Word.
The Lord knows the future for each one of us. However, God does choose to speak through His Word and His prophets.
God instructed Pastor Jim to provide a platform for proven prophets to share what God is saying to His people. These prophetic voices have created a hunger in us to draw closer to God. They continue to remind us of God’s provision, protection and enduring love for His people. These anointed men and women of God have also alerted us to soon-coming difficult days and increased persecution of Christians. Staying close to God will prepare you spiritually to endure whatever hardships you encounter. (Read Psalm 91)
If you are a regular viewer of the Jim Bakker Show, I’m sure you sense that this ministry has recently experienced some major breakthroughs. We have been able to purchase three new cameras that were desperately needed. Lori’s house is progressing and we look forward to its completion. A 24/7 prayer line is now available whenever you are in need of prayer. Thanks so much for your faithful financial support that made this possible. And please check our website for Pastor Jim’s current prophetic word. Pastor Jim is broadcasting special teachings, prophetic insights and sharing breaking news events directly from his home office!
Yes, these are Revelation days and the upcoming events of 2014 are basically unknown at the present time. This uncertainty can bombard our mind with fearful thoughts and nerve-racking questions about the future. The devil wants God’s people to live in a state of fear, anxiety and apprehension.
But God!! The Bible repeatedly instructs us to “BE NOT AFRAID” and “FEAR NOT!!”
1 Chronicles 28:20 KJV “…Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee…”
Isaiah 35:4 “Say to them that are of a fearful heart, ‘Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.’”
Isaiah 43:1 “…Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
Luke 12:7 “But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.”
Luke 12:32 “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
Isaiah 41:13 “For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”
Jeremiah 1:8 “Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.”
Matthew 14:27 “…Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.”
Determine to get rid of fear this year. Let “NO FEAR” be your goal. When the enemy targets your mind with tormenting darts of fear and worry – cast them out in Jesus’ name! Replace fear with thankfulness, joy in the Lord and the promise of God’s protection. Declare “No Fear Here in Jesus’ Name!”
I predict (with the surety of God’s Word) the following for 2014:
1) God will still answer your prayers.
2) God will still be your Healer, Savior, Provider and Deliverer.
3) God will always be on His throne.
4) God will still be a very present help in trouble.
5) God will always be your refuge.
6) God will always be a good God.
7) God will always deserve your praise and worship.
8) God will never leave or forsake you.
9) God will always be true to His Word—He cannot lie.
10) GOD WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!
Whatever the future holds, remember, the Lord holds your future. He is already there before you arrive! God will be there to meet you as your days unfold. He will sustain and provide for you in every situation. What a great comfort it is to know you can trust Him with your life.
I’m praying that 2014 will be your best year of growth in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless you, your household and all those you love in Jesus’ name.
Thank you for a wonderful word! May God bless and keep you!
