Trusting in the Unseen Forever-Present God!

Cosie Robinson

I am grateful that I‘m learning to trust in the unseen God who is always in my daily life. I look forward to the impossible things of life that surrounds me because these are opportunities for God to show His faithfulness.

As Christians God’s Spirit dwells in you and me. I’m honored to say that I know God as the Almighty One. He is the One we can trust throughout eternity.

I would like to share a personal testimony with you today about an early Mother’s Day present God gave me to me along with two of my friends. It was Mother’s Day weekend and we were on our way home after attending a meeting and having a fun day. All of a sudden the Lord told me to notice my friend who was driving the car.

As I turned around to observe him driving I saw his hands sliding off the steering wheel! His wife was in the front seat next to him and was talking. She didn’t notice that her husband’s hands were no longer on the steering wheel. There were many cars in front of us and behind us. It was very frightening with the possibility of a car wreck about to happen.

I began to speak to my friend to grab the wheel and suddenly I noticed all the cars had disappeared! I spoke excitedly to my friend instructing her to take the wheel. Her husband seemed to be in a daze and he wasn’t moving at all.

In an effort to wake her husband up, my friend was shaking him asking, “Who am I?” “Who Am I?” He didn’t respond so she quickly grabbed the wheel and swirled us back onto the road. Then she steered the car onto the side of the road. My friend then proceeded to get into the driver’s seat and drove us the rest of the way home. And in case you’re wondering, my friend’s husband has recovered and is doing well. What a relief!! Talk about scary!!

So that was my supernatural Mother’s Day miracle. I give God all the glory, honor and praise for protecting us that night. Later when I got home my husband said while I was gone he had a vision of my friend’s car going off the road! God led my husband to pray for our protection and a safe return from our trip.

I’m so grateful that my husband obeyed God’s voice and prayed for us. After we compared the time frame of events we realized that it was the same time when I was in the car and all our lives were endangered.

God is excellent — always on time — all the time! This battle that we are in today is not ours — it’s the Lord.

1 Samuel 17:47 “…for the battle is the Lord’s…” KJV

Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

Even though we don’t see God we can always trust in Him and His Word. He was in the beginning of time and the creation of this Earth and He is in the time you are living. He has always existed and always will be. He has been in your past, is in your present and will be in your future.

Genesis 1:1-6 “In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”

John 1:3 “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” KJV

John 1:18 “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.” KJV

These scriptures declare that God has always been and always will be – He is the One you can truly trust!

I hope you will meditate on this following phrase – it is my core belief about God and I pray it is yours.

All things where made by Him and through Him there is no end because He is the beginning and the end.

The Lord loves you dearly and desires to give you His best. He is trustworthy. Even though you may not be able to see God with your physical eyes, He is there watching over you and me.

If you have struggled with fully trusting God because people have betrayed or let you down, know that God is not that way. It is the enemy who wants you to distrust God. God promises to always be with you.

Hebrews 13:5 “…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Allow God to do a deep work of healing regarding trust issues. Our Lord always has your best in mind.

Break the chains of distrust that hold you back from giving yourself totally to God. It’s time to trust and believe in the goodness of the Unseen Ever-Present God.
