Matthew 19:18 ESV “And Jesus said, “You shall not murder…”
Editor’s Note: Throughout the scriptures, God has made it clear that shedding innocent blood is murder, and no murderer will enter heaven. In addition to the death of the unborn baby, abortion also substantially harms the women and many times, families, husbands, boyfriends and a whole sphere of relationships connected to and surrounding each abortion. Often, lifelong guilt and other social, relational, spiritual and even physical problems follow the murder of innocent babes in the womb. Pastor Jim Bakker believes that this issue, abortion, may be the single most significant issue that brings God’s judgment on this nation more than any other.
The pro-life group Live Action has released a series of videos that show abortion clinics in the Bronx, New York and Washington, D.C. are engaging in late-term abortion procedures and are openly ignoring laws concerning babies born alive.
The videos were released as the Philadelphia Abortion House of Horrors trial moves to the jury in an attempt to get more news outlets to cover the undercover world of late-term and illegal abortions. Live Action also wants to show that Planned Parenthood’s claims that Dr. Kermit Gosnell was an “outlier” is a lie.
A video taken at the Dr. Emily Women’s Health Center in Bronx, New York showed an abortion counselor telling a woman to just “flush her baby down a toilet” should the baby be born during the two-day procedure. The 11-year employee of the clinic also told the woman about drowning a baby in a jar of toxic solution rather than providing life-saving medical care given to other infants born at the same age.
Dr. Cesare Santangelo of the Washington Surgi-Clinic told the same Live Action employee that he would not provide life-saving care if the baby survived the procedure in direct violation of the federal Born Alive Infants Protection Act.
“We would not help it,” he told the woman. “We would not intubate.”
New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo recently endorsed legislation that would allow abortions to be carried out in the state past 24 weeks.
