Narrative
There are many headlines across the globe that are pointing and correlating to the Bible and end time prophecy. The financial collapse has already taken place. The people no longer trust politicians and this financial collapse ties in with the red horse of the apocalypse or the second seal. Many people do not read the book of Revelation because words like beast scare them. The book is using beast as a person and not a monster coming to the people. John was sitting in a prison cell seeing the world as we live in today, and he was writing it all down. People need to not put so much focus on the new presidential election. Unfortunately, people feel that the new leader will change the way things go; however, the prophecy of the Bible will not be changed. God knows how things are going to end and He can set up the leaders and take them down. Too many people are putting their hope in man, when they should be putting their hopes in Jesus Christ.
If you read enough of the Bible you will understand the Word and let it penetrate the heart. If you take one hour to read the Bible every day, you will have revelation. Reading the Bible will uncover that God is a jealous God and that things must be done His way. Americans think that He is broadminded regarding other gods, but they do not know Him or His Word at all.
Tribulation means pressure. Pastor Jim Bakker shares that with the current explosions and suicide bombers in the world, it is already in some form of tribulation. Those who are walking with God often think that he has forsaken them because they experience things that are difficult. The Bible warns even the Christians that perilous times are coming. Just because one has Christ inside their heart does not mean they will escape all the trouble of the earth.
God has been dealing with Pastor Jim about many things for the year 2012. One of the things God has been dealing with Pastor Jim about is organization. We must get organized in our lives and get things right with Him. As America is in the 10th year after 9/11, Pastor Jim cannot help but be reminded of the judgment that fell on Israel during their 10th year of no repentance. God specifically gave them a period of time to turn from their wicked ways and they did not do it. Pastor Bakker feels that this year will be significant in Bible prophecy.
It is time for America to wake up or the destruction will send her to her knees. Pastor Jim and Lori’s passion is to make sure that people are prepared. The food ministry they have has helped so many to be ready for times of tribulation. The food has a twenty year shelf life and can fix hundreds of meals for families in need. Pastor Jim urges the church to turn their affections toward Godly things and to avoid the world. The only ones who are going to make it through these dangerous times are those who have prepared both spiritually and physically.
