State Police and National Guard Deployed to Gas Stations in Sandy’s Wake
Tensions have reached boiling points at the few open gas stations in the northeastern U.S. resulting in State Police and National Guard being called out to protect them and keep the peace.
In New Jersey, the governor ordered State Police to be deployed to all gas stations along the NJ Turnpike and Garden State Parkway. Area residents said that they needed gasoline for generators because they had no electricity. Continue reading

Terrorist Bomb Plot In New York Stopped
A man who thought he was about to set off a thousand pound bomb in front of the Federal Reserve building in New York was arrested by the FBI Wednesday. Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis of Bangladesh came to the US with the sole purpose of carrying out a terrorist attack according to FBI reports.
The FBI said there was never a threat to citizens as they had been keeping Nafis under observation. Continue reading
Dangerous Drug Incidents Spread Beyond Miami
Miami police are dealing with another violent incident related to bath salts as a death related to the synthetic drug is reported in New York.
Police say surveillance video shows Shane Schyler undressing in the middle of a children’s park and threatening a three year old girl. The girl’s mother rushed the child out of the area as people called 911. When confronted by police, the man was sitting in a fountain claiming he was trying to cool off.
The park is located in the back yard of the North Miami Beach Police Department. A search of the man found bath salts similar to the ones used by the attacker in a cannibalism incident two weeks ago. Continue reading
Al Qaeda Operative Convicted In New York Suicide Bomb Plot
A US Citizen has been convicted for his role in a New York suicide-bomb plot and is facing a lifetime behind bars.
Adis Medunjanin and two friends were preparing to set off suicide bombs on New York subway trains before the 2009 remembrance of the 9/11 attacks. Najibullah Zazi, the self proclaimed “mastermind” of the plot, testified that the men planned to target trains at rush hour because it was the “heart of everything in New York City.” Continue reading
