ISIS Attempting to Eliminate Last Christian Speakers of Aramaic

Islamic terrorist group ISIS is attempting to eliminate any Christian that speaks the ancient language Aramaic in an attempt to wipe out the language that was spoken by Christ.

The Associated Press reported that thousands of Christians in Syria have fled their homes in Syria because of the terrorists but that ISIS has placed a bounty on them.  These Assyrians are so valued by ISIS that kidnapped Assyrians are being held for $100,000 each.

“Assyrians remain the last Aramaic-speaking people of the world. So the disappearance and displacement of these people pretty much spells the closing chapter of Aramaic use in the world,” Middle East historian Eden Naby told the AP.

Pockets of Assyrian communities existed in Turkey and Lebanon, but the majority of the Aramaic speaking Assyrians lived in Syria and Iraq.  The communities belong to Eastern Rite churches that we’re founded by the apostles Thomas, Thaddeus and Bartholomew.

The community of Assyrians has fallen from 1.4 million to an estimated 400,000.

Middle East watchdogs say that ISIS is involved in a systematic cleansing of Assyrians although they do not acknowledge their actions.

“They don’t care what it’s called; they are just following their ideology and that means getting rid of churches and minorities. It is the Islamic State, and there’s no room for anyone else,” said MEMRI Director Steven Stalinsky.

“This has been going on for some time, a systematic campaign to rid the region of any vestiges of Christianity.”

ISIS Destroys Biblical City of Calah

The Biblical city of Calah has been wiped from the face of the Earth by Islamic terrorists.

ISIS has released a video showing their destruction of the town of Calah, also called the ancient Assyrian city of Nimrud.

The 7-minute video shows ISIS using sledgehammers, drills and other heavy equipment to destroy ancient artifacts before setting off three barrel bombs that completely destroy the historical site.

The town is 22 miles south of Mosul and was believed to date back to the 13th century B.C.

The town is mentioned in Genesis 10:11 as being built by Nimrod, who the Bible says is the first “mighty man” on Earth.

“Cush fathered Nimrod; he was the first on earth to be a mighty man. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD. Therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the LORD.” The beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. From that land he went into Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah, and Resen between Nineveh and Calah; that is the great city.”  (Genesis 10:8-12 ESV)

The United Nations has called the action a war crime.

In a new crime in their series of reckless offenses, they assaulted the ancient city of Nimrud and bulldozed it with heavy machinery, appropriating archaeological attractions dating back 13 centuries B.C.,” a statement from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization reads.

“This is yet another attack against the Iraqi people, reminding us that nothing is safe from the cultural cleansing under way in the country: it targets human lives, minorities, and is marked by the systematic destruction of humanity’s ancient heritage,”UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova said.

ISIS Threatens U.S. In New Video

Islamic terrorist group ISIS has released a new propaganda video aimed at Americans saying there is “no safety” for any citizen and threatening to conduct a 9/11 style attack.

“America thinks it’s safe because of the geographical location,” the video states. “Thus you see it invades the Muslim lands, and it thinks that the army of the Jihad won’t reach in their lands. But the dream of the American to have safety became a mirage. Today there is no safety for any American on the globe. The mujahedeen before, although they had less resources, attacked New York and bombed the Twin Towers in September 11 attacks. That blessed incursion was a fatal blow. All praise is due to Allah, the American economy was shaken.”

In addition to the threats on America, the video features clips of ISIS attacks in the Middle East, the attack on Canada’s Parliament Hill and testimony of Amedy Coulibably, the French terrorist who was part of last year’s massacres.

ISIS burned down the homes of 10 Christian families in Nineveh on April 7th.  The group is also setting up traps to kill Christians when they enter their homes.

“Some of the houses in the village are burned. Some are bombed and destroyed. Some are robbed. We heard of one man who tried to enter his house and as soon as he opened the door, the house exploded,” a Christian man named Ayad said in a video interview with the World Council of Churches. “As ISIS forces leave, they are planting explosions inside the houses so that if people return they will be victims of the blast.”

ISIS Releases 200 Captives

The Islamic terrorist group ISIS surprised observers by releasing over 200 Yazidis after keeping them hostages for eight months.

Most of the freed captives were elderly, in poor health and bore signs of abuse and neglect.  General Hiwa Abdullah told the Associated Press that 40 of the freed captives were children.

The terrorists reportedly gave no reason for the captive’s release.

The captives who were able to speak with reporters shared stories of their captivity and kidnapping.  Jar-Allah Frensis, 88, said the terrorists stormed his home in Sinjar and took him along with his wife and son.

“The militants took all of our money and jewelry. We have been living under constant fear till our release,” Frensis told The Associated Press.

Frensis says he doesn’t know what happened to his son.

ISIS released 200 prisoners in January and the Kurdish military said the believed the release was because the prisoners were too much of a burden for their captors.

Assyrian Christians Refuse To Convert To Islam

Assyrian Christians kidnapped by the terrorist group ISIS have been ordered to convert to Islam but all of them have rejected the order.

The news of the refusal was given by an Assyrian Christian who was released by the terrorist group on March 1.

The man, calling himself “Robert”, told the Assyrian International News Agency (AINA) that all the Christian residents of his town had been gathered by the terrorists and placed into a small room until the terrorists drove Kurdish forces from the town.  At that point, they were taken to a location on Abdul Aziz Mountain.

“They asked us to convert to Islam. … Yes, that was their [first] idea that we should convert to Islam,” Robert said. “Many bearded people spoke to us, and everyone asked us to convert to Islam.”

“They kept pressuring us to convert to Islam. It was their constant focus. But we were not mistreated.” Robert continued. “We said we would not convert. They said you must then pay the jizya [a Christian poll tax] or leave the country. That was the option given to us. We said we would pay the jizya but we would not convert.”

Robert said that the terrorists provided them with all the basic necessities:  food, water, bathing facilities.

Another released prisoner named “Peter” said they were tried in a Sharia court but ruled to be non-combatants.

ISIS Hanging Dead Bodies At City Entrance

Terrorist group ISIS is hanging dead bodies from the entrances to cities as a way to reinforce their control over the population.

Photographs from the city of Hawija show the bodies of men hanging upside down from the metal sign at the entrance to the city.  The flag of the terrorist group is painted on the metal sign above the bodies.

Some of the bodies appear to be wearing the uniform of the Iraqi military.

The city is the same location where ISIS had been parading captives through the streets in metal cages similar to the one used to burn alive a Jordanian pilot.  Intelligence officials say that the terrorist group is looking to make Hawija their new operational hub.

The group also released a photo of a young boy carrying around the severed head of an Iraqi soldier with the caption “this is how the cubs of the Caliphate are raised up.”

Administration Criticized For Refusing To Acknowledge Christian Martyrs

The Obama administration is coming under fire from Christian leaders after President Obama refused to acknowledge that ISIS killed 21 Coptic Christians because of their faith in Christ.

President Obama called the men “Egyptian citizens.”

“ISIS made very clear in this video that this was an execution of ‘people of the cross.’ ISIS apparently has no difficulty saying ‘Christian,’ while the White House has a very difficult time,” Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council said.

“Why not say to these Christians who are being killed for their faith that they’re welcome to come here and have refugee status here in the United States or safe haven here in the United States?” he asked.

Retired General Jack Keane agreed with Perkins and said that Americans and the world need to realize the truth of the video.

“Clearly, this is a global jihad right before our eyes,” Gen. Keane said.

The White House is hosting a summit on how to “counter violent extremism.”

ISIS Magazine Calls Islam “Religion Of The Sword”

The newest edition of an ISIS online propaganda magazine says that despite the claims of Muslim leaders around the world that Islam is a “religion of peace” that Islam is really a “religion of the sword.”

“There is a slogan repeated continuously by apologetic ‘du’at’ [callers for Islam] when flirting with the West and that is their statement: ‘Islam is the religion of peace,’ and they mean pacifism by the word peace,” reads the ISIS article, which was translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute.

“How far is their claim from the truth, for Allah has revealed Islam to be the religion of the sword, and the evidence for this is so profuse that only a zindiq (heretic) would argue otherwise.”

The propaganda article from the group quotes passages in the Quran that ISIS claims tells Muslims to cut the heads of anyone who is not a follower of their faith.

“His Messenger … also described the sword as the salvation from evil and fitnah [strife]. [He] also described the sword as being the key to Jannah [paradise],” the article asserts. “He also declared that his worldly provision was placed for him in the shade of his spear and that the best livelihood for the Muslim in the future is what he takes with his sword from the kafir [unbelieving] enemy.”

A leading expert on ISIS theology quoted in the Christian Post says that many western Muslims have a “cotton-candy view” of Islam and they overlook what their holy book says is required of them to be a true follower.

“People want to absolve Islam,” Bernard Haykel of Princeton University says in an interview with The Atlantic. “It’s this ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ mantra. As if there is such a thing as ‘Islam’! It’s what Muslims do, and how they interpret their texts.”

Haykel says it’s wrong to say ISIS is un-Islamic because their tactics are barbaric.

“The only principled ground that the Islamic State’s opponents could take is to say that certain core texts and traditional teachings of Islam are no longer valid,” he continues. “What’s striking about them is not just the literalism, but also the seriousness with which they read these texts. … There is an assiduous, obsessive seriousness that Muslims don’t normally have.”

Denmark Police Kill Terrorist After Dual Attacks

Police in Copenhagen, Denmark have killed a terrorist who carried out two attacks on Saturday that left two dead and four wounded.

The first attack struck at the Krudttoenden café in Osterbro during an event featuring an artist who created paintings of Muhammad.  The event, “Art, Blasphemy and Freedom of Expression,” was to include discussion of Islam and the terrorist attack on Charlie Hebdo.

Police say the terrorist gunman shot over 200 rounds of ammunition into the café from the street.  A 40-year-old man in attendance was killed and two police officers were wounded.

“Denmark has today been hit by a cynical act of violence,” Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt stated following the incident. “Everything suggests that the shooting in Osterbro was a political assassination and thus an act of terrorism.”

The gunman fled but later opened fire near a synagogue in the Krystalgade area.  A guard was killed and two bystanders were injured.

Danish police found the gunman at a train station in Norrebro.  He was shot by police after he pulled a gun and moved to open fire on officers.

Boko Haram Murders Dozens of Civilians in Cameroon

Islamic extremist group Boko Haram launched a major attack outside of Nigeria, shooting or burning to death dozens of civilians.

Cameroon Information Minister Issa Tchiroma Bakari told reporters that around 800 members of Boko Haram attacked the border town of Fotokol, “burning churches, mosques and villages.”  The dead were youth that refused to join Boko Haram.

The terrorists also took livestock, food and vehicles.

The cell of terrorists reportedly crossed into Cameroon after fleeing from the Nigerian town of Gamboru.  Chad and Nigerian Air Force planes drove them from the city after a series of air strikes.

The news of the attack comes on the heels of African Union officials saying they are going to fund a 7,500 strong force form Nigeria and surrounding countries to destroy Boko Haram.
