A document has been found bearing the official ISIS seal outlining prices for the sale of women, children and infants who are captured by the terrorist group.
The document says all of the women and children are either Christians or Yazidi and that they are “sex slaves” for use by the terrorists in the organization.
“We have been informed that the market for sale of women had been witnessing a reduction in price which effects the needs for the Islamic State and the funding for the Mujahideen,” the document reads, according to an English translation of the notice obtained by Christian News. “For this, the commerce department had decided to set a fixed price regarding the sale of women. Therefore, all auctioneers are to abide by this and anyone who breaks the rules will be executed.”
Women over 40 are selling for the equivalent of $43 American dollars, while infants and children are selling for $172 American dollars. Infants as young as one year old are available to be bought as slaves by the terrorist fighters.
Along with the document, a video surfaced showing terrorists waiting in line for the auction to begin.
“Today is the slave market day. Today is the day where this verse applies: ‘Except with their wives and the [captives] whom their right hands possess, for [then] they are not to be blamed,’” a terrorist in the video says. “Today is distribution day, Allah willing. … By Allah, man, I am looking for one to get me a girl.”
The video has other terrorists talking about how they would inspect the women like cattle, checking to see if they had teeth or were healthy before buying them.
A Christian woman who gave birth to a child born without eyes says that she is very thankful that she chose to give her child life.
Lacey and Chris Buchanan were thrilled in 2010 when they discovered God has blessed them with a child. As Lacey went through her medical checkups, it was discovered that the baby boy would have a cleft palate and lip.
“Our little boy was diagnosed with a bilateral cleft palate and lip,” she told reporters. “We were crushed. How could this happen to us? Why did this happen to us?”
When the child was born via C-section in February 2011, there was a discovery that even the doctors had not seen ahead of time: the baby was born without eyes.
“Any time we took Christian out in public, people would stare,” Buchanan remembered. “They would whisper behind my back, ‘Look at that baby!’ I even had one girl telling me I was a horrible person for not aborting Christian.”
“I have literally had strangers see a single picture of Christian on Facebook and say ‘If i saw that kid walking down the street, I would murder him.’ They judge that Christian’s life isn’t worth living based on one single picture,” Buchanan writes on her website. “But most of you who know him know how awesome he is and how loved he is and how great his quality of life is.”
Lacey says that God has really used Christian to touch the lives of others and that she knows “I did the right thing by not aborting Christian.”
An Irish couple are speaking out after the birth of their healthy baby boy that doctors had pressured them to abort, claiming that he had abnormalities.
Melanie and Damien Sheehan told the Christian Institute in the UK about the ordeal that began with a 20-week scan of the baby. The doctors said that the baby had “severe abnormalities” such as the brain and the spinal cord not being formed.
“They felt that the child wouldn’t survive birth and if it did, it would be so profoundly disabled that, their words were, ‘it would have no quality of life,’” Melanie recalled. “I was put under immense pressure to go ahead with the abortion.”
“I had phone calls to my mobile and my house phone to tell me how many days, weeks that I had left till my 24-week cut-off [to have an abortion],” she continued. “Whenever we went to appointments, the nurse in charge of the consultant would introduce us as ‘the couple who was continuing with the pregnancy against medical advice.’ We were made to feel that we were doing something terribly wrong by wanting to keep our baby.”
Their baby Joshua was born completely healthy.
“The doctors said that Joshua would be incompatible with life, and now he is sixteen weeks old and he’s brilliant,” Damien said. “He’s doing everything that he should be doing. He’s the best thing that’s happened to our family. We couldn’t imagine our family without him now. Just to see the joy and the love that he brings to the house.”
The U.S. Census Bureau released a report Thursday showing that 48 million Americans are living in poverty.
The report says that despite government programs that help the poor, even 16% of children are still living in poverty.
The report from the Census Bureau is different than the standard report because it takes into account living conditions when considering who is in poverty. So while the official national poverty line is $23,283 for a family of four, in major cities the measure could be $30,000 or more.
California’s poverty rate under the new stat review is 23.4%, meaning almost 1 in 4 Californians can’t afford to live in that state’s high costs of living. New York, Florida and 10 other states had increases in their poverty numbers with the new measure.
The biggest factor putting people into poverty is medical bills according to the report.
Chinese officials raided house churches on Sunday and arrested more than 100 Christians for worshiping in a manner the state considered illegal.
Children were among the arrested, being taken from their parents.
The raid in the Guangdong province included over 200 police officers who stormed into the home during the service. The move is believed to be part of a government crackdown on Christianity within the country.
“We don’t know exactly why they raided our church,” a local believer told watchdog group International Christian Concern. “The government does not want us to get together and worship as a church.”
Multiple surveys show that Christianity is growing fastest in the world within China.
An ICC spokesman says most of the people have been released but the incident has been traumatic, especially on the children.
“What the government here is doing is so barbaric,” local church leader Chen Zhi’ai told CNN.
The Israeli Military Advocate General Corps announced investigations into five incidents connected to the 50-day battle between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas.
The most high profile of the cases involves the airstrike on a beach that resulted in the deaths of four Palestinian children. However, the IDF said none of the situations is being investigated under the guise of a “war crime.”
The MAG Corps speed at launching investigations is seen as a response to actions after the 2008-2009 Operation Cast Lead in Gaza that had some incidents left without investigation years later.
The beach investigation will look into accusations from reporters that no Hamas military targets were in the area of the beach at the time of the air strikes. The strike took place near a hotel where foreign journalists had been staying and they observed the air strike.
An investigation that has already taken place regarding an Israeli rocket that struck a UN school has shown that while one Israeli rocket hit the school, no injuries were caused to anyone by the strike. Hamas had claimed children were injured as a result of the strike.
We recently celebrated my 57th Birthday and as with most of our life events, we celebrated on the show with family and friends, and our extended family and friends which means all of you! It was a wonderful day as my amazing husband, children, and family along with my mentor and friend, Lloyd Zeigler, recalled the moments of my life that brought me full-circle to where I am right now. It’s truly been a fairytale story, with all of the tragedy and triumphs that make for a good television drama – except it was all very real. The life and times of Lori Graham Bakker could have been a great soap opera, if it were a fiction. But my life was not fiction. It was real – and God has given me “beauty for ashes” as it says in Isaiah 61. Continue reading →
The United Nations is calling out the terrorist group ISIS for the killing of hundreds of children in their campaign of terror across Iraq and Syria.
The UN’s Envoy on Children testified Monday that many children were simply executed on the spot by the terrorists.
“Up to 700 children have been killed or maimed in Iraq since the beginning of the year, including in summary executions,” Leila Zerrougui told the UN Security Council. She added that in addition to the children who have been killed by the group, they are also forcing children as young as 13 to be soldiers.
“Other children are used as suicide bombers,” Zarrougui said.
Zarrougui was not the only UN official condemning the terrorist outfit on Monday. The new head of the UN’s Commission on Human Rights called out the group while speaking in Geneva.
Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein said that ISIS is creating a “house of blood” in the areas under their control.
The UN has committed to making sure there are no child soldiers anywhere in the world by the end of 2016.
A mysterious respiratory virus has been striking children in the Kansas City area.
Children’s Mercy Hospital has confirmed hospitalizing up to 30 kids a day with the virus and the hospital is as full as during the heights of flu season.
One woman whose son was struck by the virus says that he was fine when he went to pre-school on Tuesday but soon had trouble breathing.
“You could see his ribs, and his stomach was pushing out really hard… I thought it was an asthma attack,” Pam Sheldon told Fox Kansas City.
The virus has been identified as Enterovirus-68. The virus had been considered rare until the last few years when it had increased in worldwide appearance. The virus is suspected as the cause of a polio-like disease in California in 2009 and can cause symptoms that mimic asthma to central nervous system attacks.
In some rare cases, the virus can be fatal.
There is no vaccine or anti-viral medication for Enterovirus-68 and the only thing that doctors can do for victims is supportive care such as oxygen.
A documentary released by VICE News shows Islamic terrorists training children to be homicide bombers and killers.
“What do you want to be? A jihadist or to execute a martyrdom operation?” Abdullah Al-Belgian of Belgium asks his young son Abdullah. “A jihadist,” he answers.
“Who do you fight with?” filmmaker Medyan Dairieh asks another child featured in the documentary. “The Islamic State,” the boy answers. “Where are you going after Ramadan?” Dairieh inquires. “To the camp … to have training,” the child replies. “What are you going to do after?” Dairieh asks. “Fight the Russians [and] Americans. The infidels.”
The video has interviews with various terrorist operatives that say children under 15 are sent to what is called “Sharia camp” to be brainwashed with the creeds of the terrorists and extreme Islam. When they turn 16, they are sent to the military camp.
Children taken to the city of Raqqa, Syria are shown dancing and singing for the caliphate celebration after terrorists obtained control of the city.
