Strong Alaskan Earthquake Creates Small Tsunami

Luke 21:11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

“Catastrophic calamities are coming upon the earth, not one of these days in the distant future, but soon—now! Torrential rains, unsettling weather patterns, violent storms, floods, famines, droughts, earthquakes increasing in frequency and intensity, volcanic eruptions, and a host of other signs of the times Jesus told us to watch for are happening now.”

A 7.5 earthquake off the Alaskan coast generated a small tsunami late Friday night.

The quake centered 60 miles west of Craig, Alaska according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The Alaska Tsunami Center said that a small tsunami was created by the quake but it was not significant enough to be a serious threat to property.

The initial tsunami warning covered over 700 miles of coastline from Alaska to the tip of Vancouver Island in Canada. There was noticeable changes in sea level during the following few hours but not enough to mandate evacuation.

The main quake was followed by multiple aftershocks including a 5.1 quake half an hour after the initial quake.
