An outbreak of meningitis among a part of New York’s population has health officials concerned due ot the severity of the disease.
Officials have confirmed 17 cases of the heavily virulent strain and seven of the infected have died.
“Once you get infected the time from being infected to being horribly sick and possibly dying is very short,” Deputy Health Commissioner Dr. Jay Varma told WCBS. “We’ve had several cases who have been actually found dead in their apartment before they’d even gone to see a medical provider. So that is, to us, absolutely terrifying.”
Dr. Varma said that vaccination against meningitis is the best defense and urged anyone who might be at risk for the disease to get vaccinated.
Signs of meningitis include high fever, headache, stiff neck and a rash that present themselves very quickly. Symptoms usually appear within five days of infection.
This month in the Nigeria town of Jabo, people have died of “meninigitis” left & right.
Leads me to wonder how this “meningitis” was transferred -via direct contact? -via the food or water? -via close contact? -via a vector such as the mosquito, flea, tic, etc.?
This meningitis (and Encephalitis) thing has more going on than what is appearing on the surface via the “news”. It just has that feel to it. Let alone the bacterial &/or viral infectious forms, what about the de-myelination forms through vaccination? And what about the fungal attacks / infections?
I can see that as the physical storms of weather are becoming bigger & thereby stronger in intensity, I can also see the physical storms of disease becoming bigger & thereby stronger in intensity. Yet just as in the days of Noah, all is the same & all are oblivious.
I see no one building their house / their physical body / their health via the Spirit -the Words of Jesus. Instead, I see the Body flocking to the medical knowledge / doctors so to build their their house.
¼ to 1/3 or more of the worlds’ population; just how big a storm is that? (There are always @ least 2 to 3 times more wounded than dead.)
