Planned Parenthood; ACLU Sue To Stop Alabama Abortion Law

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV) “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God…”

Editor’s Note: Throughout the scriptures, God has made it clear that shedding innocent blood is murder, and no murderer will enter heaven. In addition to the death of the unborn baby, abortion also substantially harms the women and many times, families, husbands, boyfriends and a whole sphere of relationships connected to and surrounding each abortion. Often, lifelong guilt and other social, relational, spiritual and even physical problems follow the murder of innocent babes in the womb. Pastor Jim Bakker believes that this issue, abortion, may be the single most significant issue that brings God’s judgment on this nation more than any other.

An Alabama law that requires abortion doctors in the state to have staff privileges at a local hospital is being challenged in court by the pro-abortion group Planned Parenthood and the ACLU.

The pro-abortion activists say the law is unfair because a few abortion clinics will have to close because of the law to increase safety for women who choose to engage in killing their babies via abortion.

Abortion clinic operators in Montgomery, Birmingham and Mobile say they cannot meet the standards of the law.

“The purpose and effect of the requirement, which is wholly unnecessary and unreasonable, is to impose a substantial obstacle in the path of women seeking abortion prior to viability,” the abortionists and their supporters say in a statement. “It is an unreasonable health regulation, and it has the unlawful purpose and effect of imposing an undue burden on women’s right to choose abortion.”

They also complain some women might have to travel 100 miles to get an abortion.
