Nigeria Blast Kills 20

Revelation 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!"4 Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

A homicide bombing in Kano, Nigeria has killed at least 20 people and injured dozens.

No terrorist group has yet made a claim of responsibility but the attack is very similar to previous attacks by the al-Qaeda affiliated Islamic extremist group Boko Haram. Kano is the largest city in the northern part of Nigeria.

The explosions took place at a bus station filled with civilians.

An eyewitness told the BBC he had seen at least 20 bodies lying on the ground around the blast site. Another said a fully loaded bus had been completely destroyed.

Boko Haram had been asking for the government of Nigeria to give them blanket amnesty in return for their ending their campaign of terror. The government refused the request.
