2 Timothy 3:1-8 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. The New York City Department of Health has launched an app for smartphones that tells teenagers exactly where to go to obtain an abortion.
The app also reminds the teens they don’t need parental permission for “sexual health services.”
Not only does the app remind kids they don’t need parental permission, the app includes links to the NYC Teen website that has multiple formats telling kids they don’t need to inform their parents of their actions.
One video called “Samantha’s Story” has a teen girl talking about having sex with her boyfriend and desires toward her best friend.
“If you are a teenager in New York City there are places you can go for free, confidential sexual health services,” Samantha” tells viewers. “It’s easy to find somewhere to go and you don’t need permission from anyone to get services.”
The site is run by the taxpayer funded New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
