Muslim Brotherhood Leader Arrested In Egypt

Luke 21:9-10: [Jesus said] "When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away." Then he said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom."

Mohammed Badie, the most senior leader within the Muslim Brotherhood, has been taken under arrest in Cairo, Egypt according to BBC reports.

Badie was wanted for “incitement to violence and murder” in connection to the actions taken against police and security forces by those affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, specifically since the clearing of protest camps last Wednesday.

Over 900 are now confirmed dead as a result of violence that began when police tried to clear out the pro-Mohammed Morsi and pro-Muslim Brotherhood camps.

Badie had regularly been seen at the protest camps, inciting the crowd and urging them to resist the government in any way. He went into hiding after the clearing of the camps and was found hiding in a house in north-east Cairo.

The head of the Muslim Brotherhood’s political arm, Mahmoud Ezzat, is “temporarily taking over as supreme guide” for the Brotherhood.

Egypt is currently in a three day mourning period for 25 policemen brutally murdered by terrorists in the Sinai peninsula on Monday.
