Kenyan Troops Assault Shopping Mall To End Two Day Siege

Revelation 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

Kenyan security forces launched an all out assault Monday against a group of terrorists that had seized a shopping mall in the capital city of Nairobi.

The official death toll has stayed at 62 while at least 170 have now been reported wounded by government officials. The interior ministry has taken to the social network Twitter to tell people to stay away from the mall complex.

“We are pleading with you, #WestGateMall is a scene of crime. For your own safety keep off that area. Roads leading there have been cordoned,” the Interior Ministry wrote.

Witnesses are telling the BBC and other sources the gunmen went through the mall specifically looking for non-Muslims they could execute. Anyone suspected of not being a Muslim was forced to either name the mother of the prophet Mohammed or recite passages of the Koran in Arabic. Anyone who failed either test was declared to be a non-Muslim and immediately shot by the terrorists.

Al-Qaeda affiliated group al-Shabab has claimed responsibility for the attack saying it was in response to Kenya sending troops to help the Somalian government remove al-Shabab from the country.
