Eurozone Unemployment Hits Another High

Revelation 6:5,6 NCV When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse, and its rider held a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard something that sounded like a voice coming from the middle of the four living creatures. The voice said, "A quart of wheat for a day's pay, and three quarts of barley for a day's pay, and do not damage the olive oil and wine!"

“Against all odds, the frameworks of the world’s economic, political, and social systems are being shaken and are beginning to crumble.”

-Jim Bakker in “Prosperity and the Coming Apocalypse”

Unemployment in the Eurozone continued it’s rise hitting 11.7% in October, more than a percentage point higher than last October.

The total of the unemployed in the zone has reached 18.7 million.

Several Eurozone members also saw increases including Spain climbing .4% to 26.2% (with over 50% of those 18-25 unemployed) and Italy up .3% to 11.1%. Portgual leapt to 16.3%.

The European Central Bank president related a statement warning that the euro would not have a chance to end the current crisis until the last half of 2013.

In addition, Germany and France’s growth has weakened with just a .2% increase in October. However, retail sales in Germany fell 2.8% in October and that shocked analysts who expected the sales to hold steady or slowly grow.

EU leaders used the news to push for a “banking union.”
