EU Births Out Of Wedlock Double In 20 Years

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV) “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God…”

More than 40% of all babies born in the EU in 2011 were born out of wedlock according to a new study released by the EU’s statistics agency.

The EU’s rate of births outside of marriage was only 17% in 1990.

The highest rate of out of wedlock births was Estonia with 59.7%. France was over half with 55.8%. The UK was close to half with a rate of 47.3%.

Greece, currently suffering through one of the worst recessions in the EU, had the lowest out of wedlock births at 7.4%.

The report also said that for every citizen in the EU over 65 years old, there are four people of working age.
