Double Storm Whammy Leaves 19 Dead In Mexico

Luke 21:25,26 NLT “And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken.”

Editor’s Note: Prophet Rick Joyner warns that when you see strange and extreme weather (record breaking highs, lows, floods, droughts, tornadoes, storms), it is a prophetic sign that the Revelation Days are upon us.

Tropical Storm Manuel slammed Mexico’s Pacific coast on Sunday while Hurricane Ingrid brought heavy rain and landslides to the other side of the nation as authorities say at least 19 people have died.

Government officials are evacuating thousands.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center said Manuel began to weaken when it made landfall but was still a threat to cause flash flooding and mudslides. They predict the storm to completely dissipate by Monday. The Center said Ingrid, the second hurricane of the Atlantic season, could hit mainland as quickly as Monday as warm water in the Gulf of Mexico helps it gain strength.

They expect Ingrid to dump very heavy rains across its path. Independence Day festivities in coastal cities have been canceled in anticipation of the storm’s arrival.

The deaths in the country were spread out over a wide region from an SUV washed off a road near Acapulco to three women buried alive in a landside in the central state of Puebla. At least one child is among the dead after being swept away in floodwaters.

Thousands of homes have already been damaged or washed away by floodwater.
