Car Bombings Kill 66 In Baghdad

Matthew 24:10,11 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

Terrorist attacks in Baghdad have killed at least 66.

Car bombs placed near busy shopping areas and markets in the Shia portion of the city. The terrorist attack was quickly attributed by government officials as due to increasing sectarian tensions in the city.

At least ten areas in the city reported the coordinated bombings that killed at least one child. While no group has claimed responsibility for the bombings, the actions Monday carried a similar style to previous al-Qaeda attacks in the region.

The attacks Monday follow a week where 70 people were killed in various terror attacks. Government estimates say at least 450 people have died in May from terror related violence.
