British Airways Found Guilty Of Discriminating Against Christian

Luke 21:12 “But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name.

The European Court of Human Rights has vindicated an employee of British Airways who claimed she was discriminated against at work. The ECHR said BA had not struck a fair balance between Nadia Ewedia’s religious rights and the company’s desire to show a “corporate image.”

However, her victory was weakened by the loss of three other Christians who had their freedom of religion violated.

A Christian marriage counselor who said that he would not give sex therapy to gay couples was fired and the ECHR said the rights of gays trumped the rights of Christians to their religious freedom.

Another Christian said that she would not perform same-sex civil partnership ceremonies and was fired. When she said that others at her company would perform the task and thus forcing her to do it was a violation of her faith, the ECHR again said the rights of same-sex couples overrode this woman’s freedom of religion.

Lawyers for the Christians who had their rights denied plan an appeal.

  1. They sure are not picking on other religions are they?. Why are they so afraid of Christian if there is no God. A lot of programs now showing demons being exorcised in the name of JESUS and they watch that and believe in ghosts. I guess denying Christ is a way to keep doing evil without feeling guilty-but the day will come…….
