Bombing Kills Six In Pakistan

Revelation 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

A bombing at a marketplace has killed at least six people in northern Pakistan.

Government officials say that dozens were also wounded in the attack in the Orakzai tribal region. The blast occurred close to government buildings but also near a group of anti-Taliban tribal members. Officials could not say if the government installation or the anti-Talibanists were the intended victims.

Orakzai is an active battleground between Taliban extremists and government forces. Local anti-Taliban militias are also patrolling the region. The Pakistani military has been carrying out a major campaign against Islamic terrorists in the region.

While no group has claimed the most recent attack, it is similar to other Taliban actions in the region.

This is not the first bombing in an Orakzai market; four people were killed in a bomb attack on a market in October 2012.
