ADF: Planned Parenthood Distributed Abortion Drugs Past FDA Approved Time

2 Timothy 3:1-8 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith.

The Alliance Defending Freedom is calling for an investigation into Planned Parenthood of Northern New England after saying they are ignoring FDA regulations by distributing abortion inducing drugs past the time approved by the FDA.

Planned Parenthood had been advertising that they can provide the drugs for 14 days longer than the approved time period given by the FDA.

“I think people should be very concerned that Planned Parenthood and other abortionists believe they should be held to lower standards of healthcare than any other healthcare provider,” Michael Norton with ADF told the Christian Post. He claims the group abuses vulnerable women to make as much money as possible.

A 2011 study by the FDA showed that RU-486, an abortion causing drug, was linked to 2,207 “adverse events” and 14 deaths. Over 600 women were hospitalized with 48 severe infections reported. The ADF notes that reporting of the information was voluntary, submitted to the drug company and then given to the FDA.

Norton claims that Planned Parenthood will do anything it can to avoid complying with “sensible medical regulations” noting the group objected to Iowa banning abortions being done via webcam. Planned Parenthood said they should be able to do abortion via web video for the “welfare of rural women.”
