ACLU Threatens To Sue Kentucky Schools For Bible Distribution

Mark 13:13 “You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.”

The American Civil Liberties Union is threatening to sue schools in Kentucky if they permit the Gideons to distribute Bibles on school grounds.

William Sharp, ACLU Kentucky staff attorney, accuses elementary school staff of violating federal laws by helping the Gideons give Bibles to students who request them.

This is not the first time the ACLU has aimed to keep Christians from allowing students to have access to the Bible. The group has sued in Missouri and Tennessee to keep the Gideons from bringing the word of God into public schools in those states.

The ACLU has also taken steps to fight the Gideons from being able to distribute Bibles to military recruits in all branches of the Armed Forces.

Despite their continual attempts to remove Christians and Christianity from public life, the ACLU continues to maintain they are not against Christians and religious groups.

  1. As Jesue said in Matthew 7:16, “By their fruit you will recognize them.” Just because you quake like a duck doesn’t make you a duck. An so it goes with the ACLU. The chicken feathers are still sticking out of this wolfs mouth.

  2. our local schools did the same. they stood at the exit of the school grounds and handed the bibles out to the cars that stopped at the stop sign to turn off school grounds. go Jesus…
