Revival, Repentance, Salvation

Our country desperately needs revival. Even the Church needs to be revived again because large parts have become salt-less and lost its ‘flavor’ as the Bible says in Matthew 5:13:

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.”

Every aspect of our society seems bent on the destruction of all that the Bible stands for – and all that God commands. We have a great opportunity in this age to be the salt of the earth by being bold and speaking the truth in love. That’s what we are trying to do daily on our show.

Rabbi Cahn was just here with us and his teaching and preaching always stirs the soul and calls people back to God. I wish you could all hear his message that he preached at the Inaugural Breakfast in Washington D.C. on January 26, 2013. If you haven’t heard it yet, you owe it to yourself to get it and play it over and over again, for yourself and anyone who will receive it. This message is available in our Love Gifts along with some of  his other incredible teachings.

In this sermon, Rabbi Cahn calls the nation back to God in the most passionate way possible. He doesn’t hold back and his anointing for the task is truly phenomenal. God has chosen and appointed Rabbi Cahn to speak to the moral and spiritual issues of a nation which has turned its back on God.

Revival always sparks repentance leading to the salvation of souls. The dictionary defines revival like this:

1. An improvement in the condition or strength of something: “an economic revival”.

2. An instance of something becoming popular, active, or important again.

Synonyms: resurrection – renascence – renaissance – rebirth

If ever there was a time that we need to resurrect righteousness, it’s now.

Will they listen? Will the Church listen and repent (II Chronicles 7:14)?

Every one of us should be praying constantly (I Thessalonians 5:17) for the Church and for the nation. Today is the day of salvation (Hebrews 3:15).

  2. I saw Rabbi Cahn’s message in DC. I thought someone might shut him down, but priase God he was free to speak and it was awesome and truly the spirit was moving rhrough his words. I hope and pray that our government leaders really heard that message deep in their hearts and souls. It was something special to see first hand.

  3. Amen Lori! I just had a friend over for dinner for her birthday and I shared with her the video of Isaiah 9:10 by Rabbi Cahn. She is a strong Woman of God, and very politically involved. She was blown away with the video and I encouraged her to plug into the Jim Bakker shows as well as read “The Harbinger” and Tom Horn’s books….She was blown away with all the connections that were shared in the video especially since she saw the Inaugural Breakfast in Washington D.C. on January 26, 2013 via internet!

Your blog hit it smack on the head today: REPENT…. it’s always been about repentance… turning from our ways BACK TO GOD!

We can only receive it, live it, preach it and preach it till Jesus comes. I will NEVER tire of thanking You, Jim the ministry at Morningside…That which the viewers see, learn and hear must take it to “their places in the world” and testify and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ; Redemption and the Times at hand! I love to say: PREACH IT LOUD AND PROUD EVERY MOMENT OF EVERYDAY,….and when necessary USE WORDS!

We are and are called to be salt and light… When we are all that we are called to be, we should be making people thirsty and realize their world of darkness and to be right there at those divine appointments to share Redemption’s Plan! Hallelujah! I continue to “Become” the Living Word ON PURPOSE!

Thanks for continuing to make ME thirsty Lori! I simply want more so I can give more, do more, lead more and be more ~ This week my “more” is 2 Chronicles 7:14 to live it and share it! Thank YOU for sharing!

  4. I like what you have said here: Every aspect of our society seems bent on the destruction of all that the Bible stands for – and all that God commands. We have a great opportunity in this age to be the salt of the earth by being bold and speaking the truth in love. That’s what we are trying to do daily on our show.

Embracing Biblical Truths is what it is about. The goodness of God causes people to repent. Amen. But what is the goodness of God…please share.

It would be an added plus if the salvation message were given with each broadcast. Why people need Christ in the first place….we aren’t born with the spirit of the living God in us. Need that 2nd birth. That spiritual birth regenerates us and puts us in rightful standing with God. Amen.
