One in Four Greece Citizens Unemployed

Rev 6:5,6 NCV When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse, and its rider held a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard something that sounded like a voice coming from the middle of the four living creatures. The voice said, "A quart of wheat for a day's pay, and three quarts of barley for a day's pay, and do not damage the olive oil and wine!"

“…the manipulation of money and goods is soon to be revealed as the main method of control imposed upon society by the Antichrist.”

-Jim Bakker in “Prosperity and the Coming Apocalypse”

Unemployment in Greece reached 1 in 4 adults for the first time in the nation’s history according to figures released today.

Greece’s statistical authority reported that the country lost 1,000 jobs a day over the last year. Over 1.26 million citizens were without a job in July. Government budget cuts and a deepening recession ahead for the next year was likely to increase that number.

By comparison, in July 2008 before the nation’s financial crisis erupted, there were 364,000 registered as unemployed.

“This is a very dramatic result of the recession,” Angelos Tsakanikas, head of research at Greece’s IOBE economic research foundation.

Greece is holding talks with representatives of the European Union, International Monetary Fund and European Central Bank about obtaining more bailout funds.

  1. Agree with Reece: Let’s keep filling in the gap with prayers of repentence for our nation. There are still many of us left here just for purpose of praying for our nation, Israel and lost souls.

  2. ……And the smae is headed for the United States….

……And perhaps even much WORSE,if our wicked god-forsaken nation continues to REFUSE
    to REPENT of SIN!!!
