The world and all it holds belongs to the Lord not the devil. -Rick Joyner
This country is in a dangerous place, as we do not honor our God as a holy God. -Pastor Jim Bakker
We are in the worst jeopardy, I believe we have been in, in our nation’s history including the Civil War. It is the result of us turning from the solid foundations He gave us as a nation, sound biblical principals. -Rick Joyner
Narrative
Pastor Rick Joyner took over Heritage USA and has transformed it into Heritage International which includes a school for Kindergarten through grade 12 and Morningstar University. It is mentioned that Ricky Skaggs sent his son to Heritage International in Charlotte, North Carolina to attend school there.
The great commission is to go into the entire world and preach the Gospel. That does not mean to just travel, but every area of influence. God has His people placed everywhere. So many times the Church will say you cannot go there nor do that, but we must get the message by going to all places including education, media, government, business and entertainment. Pastor Joyner shares that we need to take back the Arts. Everything belongs to the Lord.
Lori Bakker shared a vision that she was lead through a building with angels all around her. She stated that she saw a building that she had never seen before. The building was filled with young people worshiping God through human videos and music. Angels began to fill the room. She asked the young people to stop what they were doing and lay prostrate on the ground; for the glory of God was so strong. When the tabernacle here at Morningside was being built, Lori walked through it and realized this was the building that she had seen in that vision 12 years prior.
Pastor Rick Joyner is a firm believer in the supernatural. If God opened our eyes, we would see the spiritual world. He spoke vividly about those who have demonic ministries and those who have angel’s ministries. When our spiritual eyes are opened, we will see more of the supernatural. We shouldn’t worship angels, but we need to become more familiar with and start understanding the messengers and the message.
It is common at Pastor Joyner’s ministry, “Morningstar”, for worship to last all night long. When Pastor Jim and Lori ministered at Heritage International a few years ago, Lori recalled their daughter, Maricela, worshiping the Lord until 5am. While seeing her worship, Lori had a memory of when Lori first saw her as a baby in the ghetto. In that moment God told Lori that He had create Maricela to worship. This is what we should want for our children – to know the supernatural.
Pastor Joyner believes that the end is close, thus it is time for the saints to prepare. All of these things are starting to fit together, but it is going to get very intense in the Middle East. Pastor Jim is concerned about our country and how the president has mocked Israel. America is in a scary position because they are taking stands against God and Israel. Pastor Joyner agrees that our nation is in jeopardy because of the way we treat Israel. The way we treat God is even worse. We must return to the biblical principals our nation was founded on.
Pastor Jim states that walking down an isle or praying a simple prayer doesn’t make you a Christian. It is, however, a good start. We need to be followers of Christ. Everyone wants to hear from God, but they do not want to open His word and read it. Oftentimes, people are so busy that they do not truly know when God is trying to talk to them. Pastor Jim said that God is really encouraging him to spend alone time with Him. The Church has to start hearing from God.
In the last days, we are going to need prophetic guidance, dreams and visions. It can be life or death to us. As we get closer to the coming of the Lord, we have to draw close to him. People think that you can just go to church and encounter the supernatural. God is not McDonald’s. You cannot just drive through and get what you need. It takes hard work to have a relationship with God. The Bible says to “study to show yourselves approved” by God. There is such a lack of studying in the church today, because of that the church really doesn’t know God. The love of money is the root of all evil and the church people are not truly getting into His word. We must be immersed in the teachings to allow us to prepare for our daily lives. Disciple means “disciplined one”.
