World War 2 Veteran Beaten By Teens

2 Timothy 3:1-8 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith.

A World War 2 veteran is hospitalized after being beaten by three teenagers in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Ralph Bollinger, 89, was returning to his home just after 6 a.m. Monday morning after having breakfast at a McDonald’s.  His family said that Bollinger travels mostly by foot to places in his neighborhood.

Three teenagers reportedly jumped the veteran, striking him in the head and knocking him to the ground.  The teens then stole $100 from Bollinger’s wallet as he was lying helpless on the ground.

Bollinger was around the corner from his home when he was attacked.  He managed to make it to his house where he cried out to relatives he had been mugged.  He was rushed to a local hospital where family members say he is doing “as good as expected.”

Police officials say they have no suspects and have asked the community for help in finding the assailants.
