  1. I have been trying to contact my elderly mother for a few days now. She lives in Ohio with my brother who has a brain injury due to a mugging. She has no cell phone or computer. I knew she had stocked up for emergencies. I had spoken to her more than once about being prepared. I also knew she had a freezer full of food, more than likely going bad. No generator. A well but it runs off electricity. She lives in the country so I was very concerned for her and my brothers well being. As both were in poor health. An Aunt in Ohio finally found out she is ok. They are not expecting their power to come back till July 7th. When you are in good health and the power goes out in sweltering heat, it is a challenge. When health problems exist among all members of a household it takes the grace of God.
