Two Washington, DC area teenagers are in jail after being arrested on charges related to torturing an autistic boy.
Lauren Bush, 17 and a 15-year-old girl recorded their assaults against the 16-year-old victim. In addition to forcing him to perform various personal indignities, they stabbed him multiple times and dragged him around by his hair.
They also forced the victim to walk across a partially frozen pond where he fell through the ice multiple times. The suspects refused to help the boy out of the frigid water and laughed as he struggled to get back onto the ice surface.
Bush is being charged as an adult. Both defendants are facing charges of 1st degree assault, 2nd degree assault, production of child pornography and false imprisonment.
Bush and her co-conspirator have not told police why they committed the acts against the boy.
Thank you for your honesty. Hopefully, if anything happened to your grandson you would go to God right away for the grace you needed to handle the situation properly. Teens are often messed up and hurting, so they take it out on others who appear to be weaker than themselves. They see an autistic person as not having feelings and perhaps not having normal thoughts, so they don’t see the damage they are causing. I used to work with and train autistic youth. Many people avoided them. What people don’t understand they avoid or they attack, it seems. God help the victims!
My grandson is autistic. The thought of anyone making fun of him or hurting him makes me so MAD!!! I know I would go after those girls with every torture I could think of. The bible says an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!! I know He would understand my temporary insanity. That is exactly what it would be because William is my gift from God! All he ever wants is to make friends. He has such a loving spirit there is no way he would ever provoke such an attack. Those girls deserve everything they got coming and MORE! I know Jesus said to love our enemies buy my human mind could not deal with such cruelty to an autistic child!!! God I pray that you will be with this special boy of yours and help his parents to deal with their anger better than I would. In Jesus Name I pray. AMEN.
