St. Louis Police Stop Bomb Plot

Matthew 24:10, 12 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Two men have been arrested by St. Louis police in connection with a plot to bomb the Gateway Arch and assassinate two figures in the Michael Brown case.

Brandon Orlando Baldwin and Olajuwon Ali Davis were indicted on federal weapons charges and more charges are expected against the duo.

Police did not say in their indictment if the men had the capability to carry out their plans.  They bought what they believed to be a pipe bomb from an undercover officer and made arrangements to buy more for the attack on the Arch.

The men said they had to delay the purchase of more bombs because money had not been transferred onto his girlfriend’s welfare card.

They also planned to kill St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch and also the Ferguson Police Chief for their roles in the Michael Brown situation.

“This particular case involves serious issues, especially in light of the Ferguson matter. My client is entitled to a patient analysis and due process like anybody else, and he looks forward to a vigorous defense,” Davis’ attorney John Lynch told the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

  1. Hello to you all! Can’t imagine what my friend who grew up in Ferguson would say now if he were still with us. A friend of ours was city councilman in Ferguson (2000-2002). Only problem they had then was criminals from Jennings/Berkeley (the 2 cities that wrap around the airport) trying to stick up conven. stores and sneak back home. Never heard of THIS then. We don’t do this in St. Louis!!! We’ve had SuperBowl parades, World Series parades, etc. No cars overturned/ set on fire like other cities!!! That’s why I suppose Gov. Nixon, who grew up 10 mi. from where we live in Festus, seemed to have no idea how to handle it! Sadder yet, I was in high school when we lived on Grand and Castleman. I walked to school down S. Grand to Arsenal, then E./S. to my school. That was late 70’s-no problems. Earlier this summer, a friend said she’d never let her daughter walk there now. That was when the drive-bys started. Been several prophecies that devil would come after our kids. Never thought this, ISIS, or even drive-bys would be the way it would happen! Of course we had no idea the fire mentioned in Rev. would be looters burning down entire towns! Woman on S. Grand told TV news it reminded her of the Watts riots in L.A. in the 60’s! Even they had more reason to riot than these do. You may have to explain the “Watts” reference to the students since it was before their time! Love to all and prating for you!
