Luke 21:11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
Pakistan troops are rushing to a remote region of the Balochistan province to help with rescue efforts after a massive 7.8 magnitude quake.
The region is at least 10 hours from the provincial capital by car and the route is extremely dangerous. Rescue groups have been hesitant to travel because of Islamic extremists who routinely kidnap travellers on that road.
The military has reported at least 35 confirmed deaths and at least 150 people have been injured. The region suffered an aftershock of 5.7 that caused more damage and injuries.
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said the organization is ready to move in with supplies and medical help the moment the Pakistani government asks for it.
The quake on Tuesday was confirmed to be 180 times stronger in energy release than the April 10th quake in Iran that killed 37 and injured over 850.
