Islamic terrorists attacked a shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya, killing at least 68 people.
Military troops were working their way through the complex forcing the terrorists into a supermarket. The terrorists are believed to be holding captives inside the building.
Al-Qaeda related terrorist group al-Shabab has confirmed they are the group behind the attack. The Islamists said they carried out the assault in retaliation for Kenya’s military action in Somalia. Military groups in Somalia of which Kenyan troops are working have been driving the terrorists out of the cities and are strengthening the government.
Witnesses told police that the terrorists told all Muslims to leave the building because they would be targeting non-Muslims.
The shopping complex is Israeli-owned, which security experts said made the building a target for Islamic terrorists.
